The most memorable thing about Riad al Loune? Well, I guess it's our first night in Marrakech. We arrived after dark and Simo escorted us to the Jemaa el Fna square. It's a short 10 minute walk leading you through the narrow streets of Marrakech. There's no way we would have been able to find it on our own ;-). Thankfully we didn't have to sleep under a bridge. Simo also picked us up and showed us the way back. And no, we're no helpless tourists who are abroad for the first time.. ;-).
The next few days, the medina-maze became our territory and we would find our way back with our eyes closed (more or less...). Each time, it felt like coming home. The riad is such a lovely place, beatifully decorated, crispy sheets, rose leaves on our beds, great breakfast and comfy sunbeds on the rooftop terrace. It's very close to Cafe des Epices (great spot!) and the souks where you can shop till you drop. I would love to come back!
