“Beautifull Riad with outstanding service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

Beautifull Riad with outstanding service
Visiting this Riad 7 days in february 2013 has been a fantastic expirience.
Our room Was very nice. The beed large and very comfortable with clean sheets every day. Big fluffy towels were also changed daily.
A tasty and rich breakfast was served In the morning sun on the roof terrace.
Escort on the first trip in to the souks , to restaurant in the evening and to hairdresser.
The and coffee served for free all day long. Snacks and delicious almand cakes were available all day, so were fresh fruits in the room.
From the pic up in the airport until delivery same place the service was outstanding.

The riad is beautifully decorated and looks like a little palace. Upstairs the lovely roofterrace is equipped with sunchairs and there is a great 360* stunning view over the city and the Atlas mountains. Downstairs in the patio there is a little plunge pool and space for relaxation. All around the riad there are fresh flowers, green plants and a very nice atmosphere. It is well lokated in the middle of the medina with short distance to all turist attractions.
I give this little pearl my best rekommandation.

“Magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

From the bottom of our Canadian hearts, we wish to thank Khadija, Youssef and Latifa who made our stay at Riad Al Loune in Marrakech so magical. From the warm welcome to the exemplary service, we loved every moment in our oasis in the middle of the busy Medina. If you want to stay somewhere unlike anywhere else, where the décor is not only beautiful to the eyes, is relaxing and luxurious, this is the place for you. Each room is decorated in a different colour with similar details. It might be a little bit higher in price, and it is worth every cent/centime/penny! We loved sitting up on the patio overlooking the rooftops of the Medina with the Atlas Mountains as the backdrop, while sipping our mint tea, which was on offer at any time along with delicate biscuits and dried fruits & nuts. An unexpected added feature was the complimentary Hammam (sauna using clay) with rose petals scattered throughout and candles flickering. The attention to detail was remarkable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts beside the soaker pool and even stayed in for dinner, sitting in the living area warmly surrounded by candles and Moroccan décor – I loved the décor so much, I asked where some things were purchased and Youssef kindly escorted me to the shops so that I too could take a few memories home with me. On a practical side, the bed was extremely comfortable and the entire Riad was spotlessly clean. Khadija explained how to get around the Medina and gave advice as well as arranged a taxi to take us to a special restaurant and to the train station. They even did a load of laundry for us, which was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this Riad to all who want to treat themselves.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

When I first saw all the five star reviews, I was dubious. How can a place have so many five star reviews? But within 30 minutes of arriving at Riad Al Loune my suspicions were laid to rest. From the start it was top notch. They met us at the airport taxi, which they setup for us, and walked us the short distance to the riad, opening the door to a candlelight courtyard. They sat us down for hot mint tea and a huge assortment of hand-made, fresh pastries, cookies and a bowl of nuts and dates. It was like a fairy tale.
I’ve never had better service, including at five star resorts and hotels. The staff at Al Loune, including Youssef and Khadija, were incredible. They treated us like royalty, yet with the kindness of family. On my sister’s birthday they baked her a scrumptious cake, without being asked, and brought it up to her room on a tray lit with candles. The cake had both her first and middle name (presumably they had looked it up from the flight itinerary we had emailed them.) How thoughtful!
The accommodations were terrific: High quality beds, linens, and towels. The whole facility is maintained in tip-top shape. The breakfast is great: Fresh pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice, caffeine of your choice, and so much more. It’s served whenever and wherever you want: In the courtyard next to the pool, on the terrace under the morning sun, and one morning they even brought the breakfast into the room. Their service is incredible. Their facilities are excellent. I highly recommend this riad. And feel free to read my other reviews, because not everyone gets good marks. These guys earned it. I’d give them an extra star if I could.

“A paradise in the heart of Marrakech!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We absolutely loved the Riad and cannot recommend it highly enough. We stayed from 31st October - 8th November 2012 for our belated Honeymoon. We didn't want to leave. A warm welcome, beautiful arcitecture and stunning decoration, the cleanest rooms and all amenties you could want: fresh, fluffly towels, cotton buds, shampoo/ conditioner, hairdryer. Complimentary water and fruits in room. Beautiful breakfast, all 'homemade' at the Riad. Spa treatments available at extra cost if required. Most importantly the staff: Khadija, the Manageress, Youssef, Latifa & Zeineb. All lovely people, who work incredibly hard. Could not have been more welcoming. They cannot do enough to help you and will assist in anyway they can to ensure your trip to Marrakech is everything you hoped for and more. We will definitely return!

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely. All uniquely decorated and beautifully appointed. If you want a little more pr...

“Best hotel I have ever stayed at...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012 via mobile

Riad al Loune might very well be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. You might find places with more stars or a bigger pool, but it is hard to imagine you will find a place with better service than what Khadija, Youssef and Latifa offers here. They are amazing! We have stayed here for a week and enjoyed it very much. Great food, good coffee, nice spacious room directly to a beautiful courtyard. Are we coming back? Indeed!
