“it was a decent place, but location was the best part”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

We sat on the terrace and enjoyed watching the people pass by. The food was traditional. We had the fruit salad and that was really delicious. The tajine was good, nothing extra special. The owner told us we would have wi fi, which they really meant the neighbor restaurant would have wi fi for us to use. I thought that was deceiving. I will agree with others about the service...it was slow, a little rude even.

“The chips tasted like poppadoms-too overdone!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013 via mobile

Just came back from this restaurant and can recommend people not to go there! The service is poor, slow and frankly the waiters were quite rude. The food wasn't great either as the chicken was bland and the chips tasted too overcooked/fried even with some salt on them. It's also quite cramped up on the terrace. The only strength of this restaurant is the view, where we could see the locals praying at the nearby mosque and the hussle and bussle of the square. If you want a nice view with less than average food then this is the place!

“Good food, resonable price, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

We visited this restaurant a few times while in Marrakech, the lamb tagine was lovely and very tender. My mum is a vegetarian so was able to eat the pastas and pizzas here and enjoyed both. Sit upstairs where you get a good view of the square and will not be hasstled by people selling things as they do to all of the restaurants on the square where people sit on the ground floor. Service was great and we normally paid around 200dh for a meal and drinks for two of us (about £15), so was certainly affordable. If you want good food at a cheap price with a view of the square go here - we tried a few around the square and much prefered here.

“Value for money ”

Mid range prices. Lamb tagine was good and the portion was a good size. Couscous was tasty and again a good size portion. Good views over the square. Service a little slow but polite.

“Good view with average food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

I have eaten at this restaurant on two separate occasions a year apart. If you are on a budget then this is the place to go, especially if you want a view of the Square. We were brought out bread immediately on both occasions but when we asked for chilli dip they brought us Ketchup. Pizza and Tagine is a good option but the couscous meals are very bland. Will look to eat elsewhere next time.
