“Super nice Hotel - Nice Animation Team”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

I was in this hotel 2 weeks with my 2 children. The Hotel is very nice and the service is good. The food is okay and we always find something to eat. The Auqa Park was very good for our children. They were whole day in the kidsclub. I want to say a special thanks to YAYA , she was amazing with the children and they love her! I feel save to leave the children in the kidsclub and with Yaya!

To the city it is just 20 Minutes with bus. So you have to see the beautiful city. Its amazing!

The room was okay and clean! We want to come back again!

Thank you YAYA and the Rest of the animation team .... Je cherche at the internet for another time to come to you ... nothink was bad!

This hotel provides excellent value-for-money. The rooms are spacious and meticulously clean and we'll-maintained. Staff are courteous and extremely efficient. The food is excellent providing a wide offering for vegetarian and carnivores.facilities on-site are excellent.

The hotel is lovely and our apartment was spacious and clean with a stunning view of the mountains and a pool right outside the patio doors. The flumes were great fun, although we went at the beginning of March so the water was cold, I would recommend April or after. The staff were so helpful and happy. The entertainment crew made our holiday,so friendly and helpful.we are a family with a 10year old, an 8year old and an older lady with special needs, when the children were tired and wanted to go to bed mimi(one of the entertainment crew) looked after Anne and saw her home later so that we could take the children back.Mimi, nina, yaya, kiki and billyboy made us all feel special and welcome. The only thing that stopped me putting 5 stars for the hotel was the food,it was well cooked and well presented, but too rich for British children, we are used to bland food and even the pizzas that they did especially for the kids had such strong cheese that they couldn't eat them.Don't let that put you off though because the hotel was fantastic with heated indoor pool and cheap spa treatments.Morocco itself I found was not child friendly, too much hustle and hassle so not much culture for families outside the resort, but for cheap fun in the sun I would definitely recommend aqua fun hotel :0)

This is my first trip advisor review and tbh after reading reviews about the hotel prior to arriving, I was a little worried. I had no need to worry as the hotel was great. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was constantly being cleaned and it was thoroughly relaxing for me and my three friends.
The hotel room was really big and had two double beds for the two of us which was great.
The pools were cold but the weather was hot and we just relaxed.
We had booked a tour into Marrakech from the airport shuttle man which was a good way to climatically yourself to the hustle and bustle of the streets. It was informative too. A word of warning though- the tour guide is on commission from taking you to some expensive souks. Insist on visiting the main square where you can barter away.
We booked a taxi into Marrakech on the third day which was about 300 dirhams for the round trip. What was greT was that the taxi driver waited for us to bring us back(2 1/2 hrs later)
My only negative really is the spa at the hotel. The spa manager comes around the pool and gives you his sales pitch to get you to buy a spa package, promising you that you will be rejuvenated!
It was truly dreadful! Once we'd paid the money it felt like we were on a conveyor belt. The room was cold and empty and not the atmospheric room we'd been shown on the tour of the spa. The young girls laughed throughout the massage and were passing their mobile phone between themselves!!! We were told to 'sleep' mid massage making the hour massage about 30 mins in total. No modesty towels and we were left lying on a bed with the door wide open. Really dreadful and a total waste of money. The spa manager conveniently lost his ability to understand English every time we tried to express dissatisfaction! Be warned!

Pleased to note that all previous negative points have been addressed.
Travelled as a group of 14 adults, on arrival we shown to a comfy seating area and given standard forms to complete , we were also given lovely cool non alcoholic cocktails to drink whilst we were taken in couples to pay the arrival tax, all very smooth and efficient, we were then escorted to our rooms by a porter.
Rooms were a mixture of two double beds or two single beds, king size with a single and all were spotless, beds extremely comfortable, lovely bathroom complete with hair-dryer, lots of sockets throughout also mini fridge, fresh bottle of water left by bedside most mornings.
Food was very good, lots of choice, fresh omelets for breakfast also good range of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and a selection of hot dishes. Lunch and Dinner comprised of chicken dishes, fish, steak, Tangines were lovely, Chef cooking made to order pizzas every day a BBQ one evening, wonderful selection of deserts. As this was low season there was just the one restaurant in use but i understand there are three more to choose from as it gets busier.
The pools were very cold but we expected this at this time of year, didn't stop us using them though or the water slides which opened in groups through out the day, really goof fun :-)
There is also an indoor heated pool with lots of sun loungers and a bar. A lovely spa area which I was shown round but unfortunately didn't have time to use.
We were all inclusive and bar sometimes ran out of white wine but again I think it was because of season because within hours they were fully stocked again, the piano bar was very loud and great fun in the evening but you could sit downstairs either in another bar or outside as we chose where there was yet another bar. Its a huge resort with I think 7 pools ample sun beds and seating.
The staff were very helpful, as stated not all spoke fluent English but then again I don't speak any Arabic and very little French but we managed admirably :-)
We took the curtsey bus into Marrakesh at 4.30 aiming to go to the Medina and Souk which we had been told were beautifully lit of an Evening, which they were :-) ...however on arrived we were met by a man who professed to be the hotel guide and as non of us knew where we were agreed to go with him, we were duly rushed through the Souk into a Argan Oil shop and given a talk on its benefits ( It was interesting but we felt it took a long time ) we were then escorted to a shop ( very expensive) then at our request back to the main square where we went to a roof top for a drink, the views were beautiful. we all wished we had made our own way as the Souk ( markets) were full of Europeans and we all felt safe and would have liked to wander around and buy some gifts.
Pool towels are provided and bathroom towels were replaced frequently,
I would highly recommend this hotel, maybe not 5* of a Hotel in UK but very close :-)
We were in block C overlooking the pool it got the sun rise and was beautiful.
