“Best Desert Safari with Morocco Key Travel!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Great trip, great tour, great guide!
Youssef, our guide & owner, gave us an unforgettable experience. He was extremely helpful through the whole trip, trying to please all our needs, and also giving us many info about his beautiful country. His great sense of humor, his easy going temperament and hospitality made it very easy for us to feel comfortable and spend some great times with him. He started as a guide but he became our friend. The hotels we stayed in, chosen by him, were beautiful, clean and each one having its unique traditional charateristics!
Youssef stood with great professionalism, arranging all sightseeings in different cities or villages to the last detail. He drove a very comfortable and clean 4x4 Toyota and made us feel safe in every way, leaving us with no complains.
Morocco Key Travel is definetely recommended!!!!

Youssef thanks for everything...We're gonna miss u!!!

“Morocco Key Travel Rocks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

Everything was Amazing, our guide and friend Ali, is the coolest Moroccan in the world, he showed us the real Morocco, not only the touristic part, but the secrets behind. Ali is an authentic berber, who can play the drums in the middle of the desert and cross barefoot the Sahara.
They helped us in every way, and protected us from some crazy people who where getting violent.
For us it was an incredible experience, and I fully recommend Morocco Key Travel.
Thank you guys for Everything.

With love from Mexico

“"Mama Africa Tegue..."”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

We are a family of 5, three girls and the parents and we went to Morocco and we traveled with an excellent company that make our experience unforgettable. Morocco Key Travel is one of the best options to take if anyone is visiting this beautiful African country. Youssef, the owner is very responsive and reliable, he was very kind every time and he put lot of effort to organize the trip we wanted.
We had the luck to have Ibrahim as our guide, and he made our trip and amazing experience, he is very kind, funny, he knew all the people in every place that we went to, and treated us really good. We had the opportunity to share a meal with his amazing Berber family, and for us it was an invaluable experience. We will always have in our memories Ibrahim's hospitality, and the great friend he became for us.
The hotels are nice, the people is very kind, the Toyota Prado 4x4 is in excellent condition, and Morocco Key Travel know the exact places you need to visit, they are a team of real moroccan people that love their country and want to share the best of it with the tourist. There is no doubt we chose the best option to travel with.

Ibrahim the mexican family will be always waiting to see you again..!! Hope to see you in Mexico soon..!!! We miss you..!!

“Our tour was more of a car ride from one destination to the other (marrakech-Fes)”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

After extensive researching, and many emails with several tour companies I decided to go with this company because of the price and the assurance that we would have an english speaking tour guide. We were wrong - and the most expensive part of our trip turned out to be the worst three days of our two week trip.

We were picked up (on time) from our riad in Marrakech from the driver Saeed(i think thats his name). We found it kind of odd that he didnt know english (and asked us if we knew italian or french) after I had sent several emails to youssef asking for assurance that we would get an english guide. We figured that we would be meeting the owner (who was communicating with us the whole time), but we were wrong. For a full day and a half we drove in silence (with minor comments from me in my broken grade level french).

At the minimal sites we were taken to, we were given the name, and dropped off without instruction (i.e. at Ait Benhaddou we were dropped off at the street and had to go through the village's alleyways and asked other tourists to find out where to go (through the village, across the river and to the top of the kasbah on our own). Im glad I had my lonely planet book.

When we finally reached the desert we were dumped on another tour group for the night. The desert trip was memorable, camel ride was awesome but VERY quickly lost the romanticism of it after it started to hurt. Sleeping in the desert was extremely cold, we had 8 blankets (which was not enough) and a hard mattress. I would not recommend this part to any one. I think it would be more enjoyable to sleep on a bed (in a heated room). Otherwise i recommend everyone to bring hat, gloves, winter jacket.

Once our desert tour was over we "ran into" the owner. After telling him, oh you promised us an english guide - he said oh its busy time?!?!?! but then quickly said - oh i will give you an english guide now.

We were willing to forget the first day and a half of silence, if this english guide proved to be good. Unfortunately he was not. Similar to our first day and a half, he had minimal knowledge, barely any conversation, and seriously my guide book gave us more insight. Our last day with this "tour" was miserable.

Lastly I would like to add that although the breakfast and dinners are included..the lunches were always at places that were RIDICULOUSLY expensive, with disgusting food. Paying 200 dirhams per person for vegetables/bland food (when there were many less expensive/or more appetizing places nearby was quite disappointing) I believe that the driver was able to eat for free if he brought us to these places. If anyone ends up going I would recommend picking your own lunch spot (esp at Ait Benhaddou).

In all, I would like to say, if you are english speaking (only) I would recommend going with another tour group. (I wish we picked the british tour group).

The driver was not a guide, but he was a very safe driver and overall pleasant guy (without the talking) and took us to clean rest stops to go to the bathroom. (much appreciated).

The hotel they picked (les 5 lunes) for the first night was very nice, but again freezing (no heating units).

In the future when we do go back to marrakech, i will definitely be taking the train from Marrakech to Fes (reliable, comfortable, and cheap).

-we paid 600 Euros for this poorly guided tour :(
