“Fantastique!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

I was taken to Marrakech as a surprise and the city is truly amazing with a whole host of sights and sounds to witness. I would recommend it wholeheartedly as a city break destination. My wife and I were getting to know the neighbourhood surrounding our hotel and stumbled upon L'Ardoaz quite innocently. We were welcomed by extremely friendly door staff who promptly showed us to a table. The service did not stop here. Within seconds the menu was presented as well as a plate of nibbles, containing olives, nuts, prawn crackers and popcorn.
The bar/restaurant is very relaxed and there is even a resident DJ playing chilled tunes to help you relax even more in this oasis of calm. We ate at the restaurant upstairs during our stay and opted for the Moroccan three course menu which was simply amazing. Spinach and cheese samosas? followed by a traditional chicken and lemon tagine following by another local dish of oranges with cinnamon. Delicious, delicious, delicious!! The meal was then finished off with the à la menthe.
We were looked after by Said on all three days that we visited L'Ardoaz. What a nice guy!!. Nothing was too much trouble and his attentiveness was second to none. If you're staying in Gueliz in Marrakech and fancy a drink, this is the place to go. It's even worth a trip from the hustle and bustle of the medina.

“Delicious food, really cool and trendy inside”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

We had some tapas and drinks in here. Service was brilliant and food was delicious. Would definitely return here.

Not the cheapest place to eat but definitely good value for money and not expensive either.

There was an upsairs cosy bit as well as an outside garden like bit too.

“great bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Found this as we were stopping at the Diwane next door. Happy hour 6-8 - not all drinks qualify though... Good music and friendly atmosphere. The fact it was a restaurant is not obvious... No menus on display, hence never ate there. Great place for a wind down after a hard day at the Medina....

I like this restaurant very much because it has a very cozy and friendly ambiance and you can taste very good quality food always with a fresh daily suggestion from the chef!
It's a must go in Marrakesh!

“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

This modern trendy bar/restaurant is well worth a visit. The downstairs is more of a bar but the mezzanine level looks over the bar and is for people dining, a good place for drinks or food.
The food is really good, we had two courses including steak and drinks and it was 600 dirhams (£46.00) which we didn't think was too bad as we really enjoyed it! The menu is in French so we didn't really know what we were ordering which made it more fun!!

The decor is nice but it's a little dark, they also show football games!
The staff were exceptional, really nice and helpful.
