As mentioned in the last review our experience was exactly "Lovely venue and good food but let down by service” The location is wonderful situated in a luxurious Riad in the Mednia. The food was excellent with a great selection to choose from. Service was pretty disappointing. We were with a group of 4 tables and some how our table ended up two courses behind the others. We were on the starter and they were on Desert. I had to chase the waiter numerous times and finally when I requested the bill for the third time I decided to look for the manager. I found him in the kitchen with all the waiters ( that is why we could not get served ) having what looked like a not very motivating discussion. I finally managed to pay and was happy to get out. Why is is that so many restaurants end up in this situation. Fantastic location, Fantastic food and bad Service ? Needless to say we will not be back very soon.

Food was extremely good. Don't be put off by the fact it seems to be an Italian restaurant if you are looking for Moroccan food - it has plenty on the menu and it's lovely. Best of all is the place itself. Mind blowing inside and worth a visit just for that.

Food was great but poor service. We had to ask for a wine menu and never did get the opportunity to order any, so ended up on sparkling water. Might have just been a busy evening but didn't get the chance to order all the food we wanted either. Another table ended up going into the kitchen to get the bill. Clearly good food and such a lovely venue, but service needs to improve on busy evenings.

The food was delicious, more expensive than the cheap eats in the Jamaa Fna, but well worth it, and by eating frugally on other days, we could choose freely at PepeNero, a shared starter, no pasta, then full meat/fish dishes and desserts, the chocolate pudding was particularly good. And easy to find, with notices posted at key points from the Jamaa Fna square guided us, though we did do a reconnaissance during the day to make sure.
