This restaurant was recommended by the Routard, the french guide book that is usually spot-on with restaurant recommendations. I checked the reviews on trip advisor and they were rather mixed and was therefore on the fence as to whether we should go, but ended up going anyway. After going to good moroccan restaurants for the past 4 nights, we decided to switch it up and go for some indian. This was a bad restaurant, we were so disappointed that I registered for a tripadvisor account to warn off others.
The positives: The hotel/riad in which the restaurant is located is very nice, and the restaurant itself is on the third floor with magnificent view of the katoubia. The service was quick and the ambience was nice.
Everything else was bad, in particular the food (the reason for going to a restaurant!)
The papaya salad (do not order it) was served in a pineapple with chopsticks, it was pretty difficult to serve (no spoons) and the three dipping sauces (tamarind, green coriander and a "spicy" sauce) had no relation to the papaya salad.
There was very little lamb in the lamb briyani (mainly rice) and it was tough and dry with gristle.
The naan did not taste fresh and was burnt.
The vegetables in spinach sauce had no discernible flavour.
Overall, the food did not taste fresh and seemed to be reheated. The portions were also rather small. If you like indian food, you will be very disappointed. Most take-out/delivery indian restaurants have better quality food and significantly more menu choices than this restaurant.
As for service, while efficient, it was rather impersonal.
