I'm not sure what can be said that has not been said. Christian and Isabelle will go to any lengths to make sure every expectation is met. Not only does Christian give you a thorough tour of the medina and souks so you will not get lost, when my wife wanted to go to a hammam, isabelle walked us there and showed me several places in the area where I could spend my time while waiting on my wife to complete her treatments. On our last night, we ate dinner at the riad and had an excellent tagine. We left at 6 am for the airport and both Christian and Isabelle had a full breakfast prepared for us at 5:30. Incidentally, if you are a runner, take along your running gear and Christian (who is an accomplished runner) will even run with you. We feel like we have made new friends because of our time at Riad Badi. Since so much has alrady been said about rooms, the plunge pool, and other aspects of the riad, I will not drone on. All i can say is that it is the best.

Room Tip: Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a great way to start the day....

Dear Carl,
Thanks for sharing your stay at Riad badi on the website.
As we usually do we have received you as we would receive our friends or our family. We have tried to help you discover Marrakech and new flavors during the dinner.
We are glad you have appreciated our service and our dinner. We have already forwarded your compliments to our cook for the meal.
As you wrote we offer a early breakfast only for our guests who leave the riad for a trip or for a departure to the airport.
It was a pleasure for us to receive you.

I have just returned from a lovely stay in this beautiful Riad. My partner and I spent 5 nights here and it really did make our holiday, Isabelle and Christian are wonderful hosts and they cannot do enough for you.
On our first day,Christian showed us a map of where to go and then took us on a tour of the market and souks which was very helpful as its a maze until you know where you are going!
Breakfast on the terrace every morning was beautiful and the watching the storks on the palace roof next door was very enjoyable. All of our food was excellent and the dinner we had on our first evening was very tasty.
Our room was large, cool and very comfortable with lovely homely touches and rose peals scattered all over. It was very clean and tended to every day.
This really was a great place to stay and a welcome haven from the hustle and bustle of the old town outside!
Thankyou Isabelle and Christian for a wonderful stay, we will definitely return if we ever visit Marrakech again.

A beautiful and peaceful Riad. The owners are very helpful, nothing is too much. They explain Marrakech when you arrive, and even go on a tour with you to show Marrakech and make sure you don't get lost. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was perfect, with homemade products. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Riad.

My friend and I spent 3 nights here out of a 10 night trip to Morocco, and it was probably the best place we stayed. Isabelle and Christian were extremely welcoming, and the introductory walk up to Jamaa el Fna and the souks that Christian took us on probably saved us a lot of time getting the hang of the city on our own. The location is very good - you're a 15-minute walk from Jamaa el Fna, true, but that's probably not unrelated to how blissfully quiet the riad is, removed from all the craziness of the city. The view from the roof terrace of the storks nesting on the El Badi palace walls is particularly pleasant (and entertaining when they start strutting around).

Our room was large, cool, clean and carefully decorated, and came with many nice touches like a cold bottle of water when we arrived, and rose petals scattered around. Breakfast is simple enough by British standards (as all Moroccan breakfasts are) but very good quality, and varies a little from day to day to keep things interesting - and eating it on the terrace is a very pleasant experience all round.

Generally speaking, coming back to the riad each day never failed to bring a smile and a sigh of relief after hours of salesmen/donkeys/motorbike-dodging in the old city's crowded streets. A true haven to return to.

I spent two very enjoyable nights in this small, quiet and beautifully presented riad. Breakfast on the roof was a highlight. The rooms and the whole building are beautifully furnished. I was travelling alone and the owners looked after me extremely well.

Wow! Riad Badi a true "oasis in the desert" and a very quiet place in the medina. My husband and I stayed here for a week 11th September. Beautifully decorated rooms, spacious and clean - but we did miss a fridge - fresh linen and towels daily and rose petals scattered over the bed. We found Isabelle and Christian very friendly hosts very welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble even by Christian taking us on a priliminary walk to the souks and the square. Breakfasts were delicious and could be served on the roof terrace next to the plunge pool in view of the storks nesting on the Badi Palace walls. We found that the 3-course meal was very good value(20euros) compared with many of the local restaurants and these were of course very delicious and filling. All the main attractions were easy to get to with Jemaa el-Fnaa 10 minutes walk from the riad and not to be missed. We couldn't recommend Riad Badi more highly.

Room Tip: Hibiscus room was very sunny
