“Highly recommend this riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

The reviews we had read prior to our visit were accurate. The Riad is beautiful, modern with a Moroccan design. The bedrooms are all of a high standard with excellent ensuite facilities, very comfortable large beds. Best of all are the hosts Isabelle and Christian who really do go that extra mile to help you to get the most from your holiday. Christian gave us a guided tour that lasted a couple of hours that really helped us to accustom ourselves to this very different experience. We explored the authentic Marrakesh and the souks and crazy square where all manner of activities take place. We were always pleased to return to our peaceful haven. We enjoyed dinner and wine, and chats with our hosts and followed their advice on restaurants.

Breakfasts were excellent, slightly varied each day so we could try different jams and breads, with fruit and yogurt .

There were four of us on this trip, two couples, we were all delighted with every aspect of Riad Badi and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Room Tip: All six rooms I saw on the first floor were beautiful.

Dear Patricia,
Thanks for staying at Riad Badi and for posting the wonderful review on TripAdvisor.
The Riad Badi's team is delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We have spent lovely times together to discuss your many walks in the medina and also the decorative tadelakt and the decorative plaster .
Thanks "Ali Badi" who we did to discover these drawings of Marrakech.
Kind regards

On our first visit to Marrakech this Riad was chosen due to the excellent reports on Trip Advisor. It turned out to be perfect, with wonderful french hosts Isabelle & Christian who looked after us very well during our stay. Dont worry if you dont speak french as their english is fine. They will arrange taxis to and from the airport for you which is recommended. Upon arrival we were greeted with refreshments then Christian took us on a local tour to get our bearings for the rest of the week. In fact he will accompany you if required during your stay. We also recommend eating in at the Riad as we did on two nights and were rewarded with a 3 course Morrocan meal which was excellent. Wine & beer are available also. The Riad is well located and is also very quiet if you wish to pop back during the day, have a Mint Tea & relax. The rooms are very good all with en suite facilities. We woud recommend it and would certainly return.

Christian and Isabelle who hosted us at their Riad Badi, were energetic and accommodating beyond expectations. Our introduction to the confusing surroundings in the Marrakech medina was facilitated by Christian, who comfortably led us through this labyrinth which paved the way for our many ventures out alone in the days to come. Isabelle was adept at participating in and overseeing the delicious meals we enjoyed during our stay, and also helped with our laundry and any other questions we had. When we had need to communicate with our guides or drivers on our outings, they helped facilitate with their phones and language skills.
The Riad was lovely, clean and comfortable. It is situated in such a way that the nearby bustling square is not audible. A lovely spot, a very helpful couple, a place worth visiting again.

The riad itself is beautiful on the inside, but what really makes this place special are the hosts. They gave us a tour of the Medina when we first arrived and provided us with some incredibly useful tips for our visit. Throughout our stay, they were always on hand if we had any questions or needed help with anything. Also, the breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice and homemade yogurt. If I ever go back to Marrakech (and I hope I do), I will definitely stay here again.

I never normally write reviews but considering the wonderful service at Riad Badi, I thought it was the right thing to express my gratitude. The riad was just beautiful, the room we had was lovely and we could not have asked for a more gracious pair of hosts... They made us feel so welcome and were really informative and friendly. I would certainly go back and we have recommended the riad to our own friends and family. By far a better alternative to a hotel; this riad and its owners had charm and personality. Wonderful :)

We decided to choose this Riad after reading so many reviews on TA and were not disappointed.
It is situated only 10minutes from the main square and reveals to be quiet at night. They provided us with lots of useful information on arrival to know what to expect in Marrakech. Definitely a 5 star service, we never feel left behind.
Our room was romantic decorated, was spacious, large bathroom, fresh towels and comfortable bed.
Breakfast can be served on terrace, in the dinning room or in the patio. Everyday we were surprised with different bakery and bread.
We enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay there if we go back into this beautiful city!
Thank you Christian and Isabelle! nous vous remercions pour votre très Bon accueil!

Room Tip: We had hibiscus room and loved it

I stay at Riad Badi with my friend for three nights. We received a warm welcome from Christian and Isabelle. Christian offered us to show the area and provide with all sort of necessary information. Riad is fully equipped with modern technology while offering you traditional Moroccan stay. Rooms, sitting area and in-suite bathrooms were cleaned and beating 5 star hotels quality. Our room linen, bath towels and toiletries were changed every day without being asked for it. We've offered different breakfast every day during our three nights stay. An airport transfer was also offered with a price of just 15€ hassle free.
We would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone who wish to make their stay fancy.

Thanks Karim for your stay at Riad Badi and for the nice review.
We are delighted that you have appreciated your stay at Riad Badi
We have spent lovely times together to discuss your visits in the medina. You are the first guests who have visited the Medina on a motorbike: another way to discover the numerous narrow streets and a nice experience.
Thanks again
