“Massive room for Improvement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

The course itself has a lot of potential and could be a great course but it was let down by a totally unfriendly / unhelpful man on reception. There were a lot of large gravel areas on the red course fairways which I can only assume are supposed to be bunkers with out sand. We also found that we were held up by 4 balls being tutored by an instructor who was running between both groups. Such a shame as it was nice to be able to play without the compulsory caddies, the starters were polite and the course was interesting to play.

“The worst run golf club in Marrekesh”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

On arriving at the club they denied any knowledge of payment by the travel agencies and booking and would not let us play the course. On contacting our agent we arrived the next day and did not apologise for their mistake. We played the green course which was poor quality but ok then the blue which had six four balls learning to play golf with their so called Pro running between. The caddies stated 5-6 hour rounds the norm no ettiquette no marshalls. We were lucky shouting our way through french golfers hitting 10 shots to get to 350 yard par 4. Handicap cards required a joke! Blue course terrible condition, caddies useless just dont waste your time going their the worst run course in Morocco. Thank you Hamid the most useless manager of a golf club ever a total waste of oxygen

“Don't waste your time !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

I am a golfer that plays off 2 handicap and I must say I have never been to a golf course so dis-organised badly managed poor quality and try to just rip you off on green fees and within the bar after. Stay well clear of the course the blue is of a lower standard of the worst public course red you could say was average if you play bad courses and the green just as poor quality. Bunkers never touched and playing off gravel tees hacked up so badly hard to find grass. When you arrived management of course clueless of tee times which courses to play and are totally un-helpful changing rooms are poor and smell . Check your receipts and bills as this club has a reputation of trying to con people. Go to Sammanah or play Royle off white tees or Al Maaden don't waste your time here!

“Nice course but poor bunkers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

A very well planned desert type course with excellent fairways and greens. The course however is let down by bad maintenance of bunkers, many of which had practicly no sand and meant proper bunker shots could not be played. There were also many areas of scrub land in the middle of fairways that should have been large flat bunkers of the sort one sees on many desert type courses. The problem was that these were all very stoney with no sand and could easily damge clubs when playing from these areas. Otherwise a lovely well planned course and the clubhouse facilities were excellent.

“Our favourite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We played four courses in Feb 2013. This was our favourite . We played the red course (back nine of the old course) and green (the new nine). The starter told us this was the combination the European ladies played in December.

Great practice facilities. Hire a buggy before you go - they only have10! Caddies are not compulsory . Interesting layout, mix of hazards - sand and water.Lightening fast, but true greens.

Take a loan out for the 19th - £15 for four small beers??
