10 of us spent an amazing long weekend in Marrakech for a friend's hen do. Having Riad de la Belle Epoque as our base could not have worked out better. I booked it myself based on all the great reviews on Tripadvisor, and also the fact they could accommodate 10 girls in twin rooms as most riads in Marrakech seemed only to have maybe one or two twins at best. I couldn't have made a better choice. From our welcoming arrival with mint tea and traditional biscuits accompanied by an in-depth introduction to the local area in both English and French, to the amazing breakfasts served on the roof terrace (which varied each day, but were all delicious and more than plentiful) and the incredible customer service (even going out to the shops to buy one of the group some cigarettes because she'd run out and they didn't stock her brand in the Riad!), everything about the place made us feel at home and really spoilt. The staff were all so friendly and generous (quite handsome too ;-), and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms were beautiful - particularly the ornate en suite bathrooms - and we all found the beds really comfortable (and weren't bothered by any outside noise during the night). The location is great - it's about a 15 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna, but you enjoy every minute of it. We would all be very happy to return there if we ever had the chance to repeat our Moroccan Adventure! Highly recommended.
