Lovely, lovely riad. Super cheap and so welcoming. Honestly, the people giving a bad review might need a reality check or just have extremely high standards.
Pool was perfect: we were there during a heatwave and the fact that the pool is pretty cold, was excellent. I've read a review about the pool being dirty: not at all. Also, I saw them cleaning it every night. The riad is quite far from Marrakech, and the (free) shuttle bus to town can be pretty packed and/or warm, but manageble. It goes about 3 times a day (when we were there, off season) depending on the demand. One time, we spontaniously wanted to go into town after a daytrip. The bus was full, but they drove an extra bus just for us and another couple. Don't forget: in times of heat, it's much, much cooler this far from downtown Marrakech. I'm happy to drive a bit further for this fact.
Rooms are big and pretty. Not extremely clean, but nothing to worry about. We did however saw several big bugs (not cockroaches), but thank god for my friend and his slipper. We've asked other guests and they didn't have any. The cat just had 5 kittens, which were to die for! Also loved the two peacocks they had in the garden.
Best part: the staff. Anything you wanted, they would give it to you with a smile. Not just because it's their job, but because they genuinly wanted to help. Never met such friendly people.
