“Excellent short break!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I stayed here with three others in March, excellent service, the hotel is very clean and staff are all friendly. We chose the half board option which I would recommend as had delicious 3 course meals in both the Morrocan and Italian restaurant. The hotel offers a free bus to the square/ Marrakech market throughout the day which is very useful as save quite a lot on taxi's. Overall highly recommend!!

We paid extra for what was called a garden room which was very quiet being the other side of the swimming pool -the hotel had very few people staying when we were there - I wouldn't like to say how quiet it would be in high season as the rooms balconies all look at at each other.The room was quite clean, had a little kitchen cupboard with a kettle and cooking ring (although eating out was so cheap we didnt bother), a nice balcony and the bathroom shower was a wet room come steam room. Staff were all very helpful and spoke very good English. The 2 restaurants that were open both produced excellent food and breakfast was good too.My husband used the spa and was very impressed. we stayed for a week but really a short break would be enough - a lovely bit of winter sun ! The shopping mall just up the road is worth a visit - all western prices though.

Room Tip: a room away from the pool.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It wasn't a five star but definitely a good four star. Clean, good size rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Only a short (and cheap) taxi journey into the centre-so although it's not walking distance, it's quite nice being able to escape the hustle and bustle of the centre.

I can only think of two downsides: 1) bathroom door was a sliding screen thing-this doesnt serve as a proper door, so can be a bit odd feeling like the bathroom (and everything which goes with that) is happening in the bedroom. 2) limited dinner menu being half board for 4 nights;

Visited this hotel with a group of girly friends on a very good deal from travelzoo. It is super duper clean and sparkling. Our rooms were well appointed with smart bathrooms. Only teeny criticism is we couldn't opt for twin beds so had to share doubles and the bathroom door is a sliding type so sometimes it wasn't as private as I might have liked when sharing with a friend and not my husband! This was a very minor thing though. Although the Japanese restaurant was shut we had the choice of the Moroccan or Italian. I think the Italian was slightly better quality although the Moroccan buffet starter was delicious. Drinks are big hotel prices...so we took a tip we'd read here on trip advisor about walking 5 mins down the road to the big Carrefour supermarket and buying beers to have on our balcony. Taxis are plentiful and pretty cheap to all the main attractions of the souq etc. the on site spa/hammam was gorgeous and v luxurious. Pool was fab but as it was only feb a bit chilly to jump in. All in all an ideal place to mix up the wonderful craziness of Marrakech with some relaxing time.

Just returned from a four-night break at this fabulous hotel - booked as a deal on Groupon. Beautiful hotel, gorgeous breakfast, fabulous maid service, lovely room - the Safe is free and easy to use, the plugs take English or European plugs. Had a small problem with the hot water, which was attended to and rectified immediately by a friendly and polite technician. The staff throughout the whole of the place were wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. The food was outstanding. Enjoyed our Hammam (which is a posh shared shower) located in the spa. There is a shopping precinct a few minutes walk away with a huge Carrefour supermarket (The off license is located at one end of it and called the Cave). The free shuttle service into Marrakesh was good Marrakesh is an amazing place which totally assaulted the senses! The mix of trepidation, the unknown, the noise, the smells, the variety of humanity, the unimaginable array of wares from the stalls in and around the souks was, at first, completely overwhelming, but rapidly became a highlight of the holiday and great fun. A real roller-coaster of emotions! Was told by one couple who had a horse and carriage ride that they were taken to a place selling 'spices' and felt compelled to buy before the driver would collect them, so perhaps would avoid those! We came away with wonderful memories of a lovely break and friendly, warm people. Would strongly recommend.

The reception, as all of the staff, were very welcoming and helpful. Had the 'basic' room with pool view which was spacious and very clean. No carpets in any of the rooms making the daily cleaning effective. Clean bedding and towels every day which was a bonus.
Connected to free WiFi in room, no need for a password, and had a strong signal throughout the building and pool area.
Only two of the restaurants were open, but it is winter over there -hence price of 4 night break! Enough choice between the restaurants to have something different each night. Yes the service was a little slow - but it is Morrocco and we were not in a rush to disappear elsewhere, just enjoy the experience .
Shuttle bus was a big bonus, even if the first load was full it only took about 10 minutes for him to return for a second. Plus friendly taxi drivers at the door who were not there to rip you off.
We phoned down for a hair drier and it was at the door about 5 minutes later.
Enjoyed the experience, would go back and recommend it to anyone.
