We stayed here in June and absolutely loved it! The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the Médina and the souk: you really get the flavour of the local culture. The riad itself is an oasis of calm, with a shady courtyard and pool, as well as a sunny roof-top terrace with sunbeds where you can chill out.
The staff could not do enough to help us: they were on hand to collect us from the main square (cars cannot reach the riad itself); they gave us a mobile phone in case we got lost (we did!) - and then came to fetch us. Valentina and Zahaira talked us through our plans and helped us arrange bus tickets to Essaouria, a day-pass to the country-club (which has a good restaurant & pool) as well as arranging all our trips and taxis for us.
The food was wonderful: a huge breakfast of bread, pastries, eggs, fruit, yoghurt - you name it, they provided it - which we ate on the rooftop terrace. We ate our evening meal in the cool of the courtyard - again, brilliant food - salads, tagines, fruit.
The room - well, actually a suite - was a revelation! It had a four-poster bed (really comfortable) as well as a sofa and armchairs, fresh fruit and water always to hand.
We cannot recommend this riad highly enough. I look forward to a return visit!
