“Brilliant views! Wish we had found it on the first night!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

This place is excellent, perfect in the evening to relax for a drink! I had a chocolate melting cake desert (500dh £5-£6) which was delicious, wine and a selection of nuts and it was fab. After 9:30 they play live music. They do food which I didn't try but looked very nice, complementary olives given on arrival very nice. Only complaint is the service is a bit slow but so worth doing!

“Great place to watch the sunset”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We fell across this lovely spot by accident about half an hour before sunset and it charmed us completely. From the outside, as with much in Marrakech, it doesn't look like much but once inside go to the rooftop bar, find a sofa and order whatever takes your fancy, ours was a very good local red wine. Then sit back and watch the sun set over the city whilst the storks nest build on the walls of the ruined Badi Palace next door. As the temperature drops the patio heaters get lit and the lanterns light up and you can settle in for as long as you like. Food was served from 8pm and we had ours downstairs in the first floor dining area which is beautifully decorated. The food is good and the live music floating up from the downstairs bar a pleaseant addition to the evening. Highly recommended.

“Must do ..Riad funky restaurant ,great food, great atmosphere.little pricy but worth the cost for a relaxing afternoon !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

After a busy morning looking at Majorelle gardens ( Yves St Laurents lovely garden now open to public)we drove around the city walls and found the Nkob gate and headed down past the square to Palais el Bahia.we parked up (50p to the little man)and walked 2 minutes to Kosybar that overlooked lovely old city walls inhabited by huge nests with residing stork families that gently soared over the area.the restaurant was in a refurbished riad and was beautifully done in gentle lime green velvets and two terraces with friendly waiters and cafe style food.we had salmon kebabs and salad which were a bit underwhelming but I wouldn't have missed the experience.the bread was good ,the coffee great but it was the atmosphere I loved.ok the bill was a bit over priced (£30 for two)compared to the local places but we sat and chatted and really enjoyed the ambiance.the cafe was in an area of metalwork artisans, altogether a must do ,I think.

“Brilliant spot in the Medina for views and beer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Views over all of the Medina, Badii Palace and over to the Atlas Mountains are amazing from the two roof terraces of this bar - and it's one of the few places in the Medina that sells alcohol - try out the Casablanca beer. It's a little pricey, but thats to be expected really, food is decent enough, but again, a touch on the pricey side.
