My boyfriend organised a surprise trip to Marrakesh for me for my 30th birthday in December and we stayed at Monriad for 4 nights. The Riad is in an excellent location - very close to the main square, and very close to the typical 'streets' in the Medina (packed with shops, donkeys, mopeds and vendors) but still very peaceful and quiet.
The Riad itself is a beautiful building - the rooms are modern and luxurious but have a Morrocan feel to the decor. The roof terrace is lovely, especially at night. The breakfast is very generous including bread, eggs, pancakes and more, and the service was great. All the staff at the Riad were really helpful - in Marrakesh you will often need advice and in particular directions, and the staff were brilliant at organising taxi's and bookings for us, and giving us general advice.
