“Manuela, Manuela & Manuela!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012

This Riad will not stand out for it's luxury, however I cannot say that I have received better service anywhere else. Manuela makes sure your experience in Marrakech is unforgettable, she will help you without getting in your way.

This Riad is perfect for the kind of traveller that likes to:
- Have a good location that allows you to walk everywhere. You are close to the action without getting burned.
- Have a great service, with kind people that will welcome you by your name and will ask you with real interest on how your whole experience in Marrakech is going. They will for sure give you a hand in case something went wrong or if you need advice.
- Travel with budget so that you can enjoy the Marrakech experience without having to stay the whole day in the hotel because of how expensive it was

Definitely a place to go back!

We stayed 2 nights in June. This hotel is a great value and provides a very pleasant stay near the heart of the Marrakech medina. The room was super clean. The A/C worked great. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The owner/host Manuela was very welcoming and helpful. Bathroom was well appointed with modern fixtures. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend on my second trip to Marrakech and loved the place. Excellent location, especially for a solo female traveler with a rooftop terrace to be enjoyed in the evenings. Manuela and the staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful. I especially appreciated being able to remain in my room past checkout time. I would return here on my next trip. Check it out!

We stayed at MonRiad for 3 nights in June and were really pleased with our choice. This is a beautiful little Riad in the centre of the old town, walking distance to the main square, souks and eating places. The owners are extremely hospitable and were able to provide us with a wealth of information whenever we had questions on what to do and were able to organise any trips we wanted at a moments notice! Also had a lovely roof terrace which was very peaceful and a great place to spend the early evening as the sun goes down. Fabulous trip made all the better by the lovely Riad.

Room Tip: Rooms are set out on different floors around an open courtyard - I don't think any of the rooms...

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at MonRiad at the end of May. Once you manage find it you discover a beautiful riad with well decorated rooms. Our room had an enormous shower which was fantastic after a day wandering around souks and soaking up the hot sun. Breakfasts were basic but much better than most we experienced in Morocco and the staff are lovely, you feel almost like an extension of the family that run it. The rooms are great value, and the staff can provide advice on day trips out of the city.

I would certainly recommend Monriad to anyone.

Everything there was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they also speak pretty good English. Location was perfect, easy to get to the main square and also to a small parking area to get a taxi. Would highly recommend.

Me and a friend stayed here at the start of our Morocco trip. It was so good that we came back at the end. Manuela and team were very friendly and helpful. They alloud us to keep the room till our plane left meaning we could have a shower before we left even though it was a few hours after check out.
This is a lovely calm and relaxing place to take shelter from the crazyness that is Marakech. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The shower and toilet were a dream after what we found in the Atlas mountains!
