“Fantastic place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2011

We found this hotel on tripadvisor and saw from other reviews that it seemed like a good place to stay. The reviews weren't wrong!!

After a transfer from the airport (sorted by the hotel) we were taken straight there with no fuss. Our bags were taken whilst we were greeted with mint tea and a sit down after 4 hours of travelling, Jonathan (the manager) then showed us a slide show of what to do in Marrakech (including excursions and where to go) and then taken to our room.

The room was spacious and clean which is exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast that was served was delightful and really set us up for the day.

We literally had to do nothing at all as all of the extremely helpful wouldn't allow us, this even included going to change our money up as they would do this for us. Evening meals are also very tasty with the food being especially bought for us as you order by 4pm.

Even though we had to check out at 11 on our day of departure with our flight home at 7, our bags were looked after and a room kept spare for us to have a quick shower and relax before the trip home,

All in all, the MonRiad made our stay in Marrakech a million times better!!!

I stayed in Marrakech for a week in August with a friend and stayed in four different riads so we could experience a few different areas. This was by far the BEST of the four. The staff were so polite, always striking up a conversation and checking we were satisfied with our room.
We had made a booking with easyjet but the riad hadn't received our booking from them, but they made up a room for us while allowing us to sit out of the sun and enjoy a mint tea! I was so impressed with the service. We also had food in the evening a couple of times and it was some of the most delicious food I've ever had! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Choose a Riad to spend your holiday in Marrakech it is a bit a mission because there are so many different options, so I skip all the research thing and I just asked help to a friend of mine who is already been to Marrackech and he suggest me to stay at MonRiad. So what I did? I booked my 2 weeks holiday at MonRiad and for the money that i spent I was very surprise of the excellent service, the location and the comfort of the room. Than i was really impress about the excursions proposed because they are selling itinerary that you don't easily find everywhere so i was feeling really confident to book my excursions because i thought if they know all this interesting spots for sure they have a huge knowledge about the country. In the end my stay at the Raid was excellent and the excursions were brilliant.

It was pouring rain when I arrived at the MonRiad - after getting lost a few times. The name of the street/lane it was on was written in Arabic. When I entered, it felt like heaven! Staff members were very kind and welcoming - they seemed more like family. I was greeted with fresh pastries and hot mint tea - wonderful! Thanks to the rain we ate supper at the hotel and that was an exquisite experience. I must say it was the best meal we had during our visit to Morocco. Our room was tiny but beautifully furnished. Breakfast the next morning was another treat. We only stayed the one night but I would love to return.

Enjoyed this riad nicely tucked away from the madding crowds. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and the mint tea was some of the best we had in Morocco. Staff very friendly and helpful. Arrived midday and was treated to tea and the most wonderful smells. Will come back!
