A modern take on Moroccan cuisine in a stylish new riad but the service was curiously brusque for no apparent reason as there were plenty of empty tables. We were not asked if we wanted aperitifs but asked to order almost straight away. The waiter insisted there was no wine list and that there was only a single kind of red available although we saw other types of red wine being served at other tables throughout the evening.
As tables vacated, the glass tops were cleaned with Windex which is a change from the usual Marrakech fragrances like orange blossom and rose water.
Nice food and well reviewed by others but it was all a bit puzzlingly odd and unfriendly so this is not top of my list for a return visit.
