“Good value, good food, good place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

The 100DHM set menu was excellent quality - had a luxurious and enjoyable meal looking at the Koutoubia Mosque from the terrace. Was the better of the higher end restaurants that we visited

“Late lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013 via mobile

It's all a matter of perspective and expectations really.
Not good for the infirm, as it has 2 flights of narrow stairs to reach the terrace.
I've just had their £8 set menu which, lets face it, is cheap by most standards - menu in English.
Olives (which I love these days) and some bread to nibble on while the soup starter was done. Soup came with additional bowl of dates and lemon wedges. The soup had plenty of taste - a bit flowery for my liking - and a good portion of big bits within.
Very soon replaced by the citrus chicken Tajine accompanied by a bowl of home made chips. The chicken, although quite a small portion of leg which I've paid £2 for at a different place, was sizzling, and very hot and the first juicy chicken I've had in 3 Weeks

Wonderful authentic feast at fab prices. We went back a couple of times because we enjoyed it that much! The Kefta tagine being one of our fave dishes. Live music and welcoming environment

“Good food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

the food was good, the service was not, our waiter left us three times whilst taking our order and food service was slow. They had two musicians there at the time which added a lovely atmosphere to the restaurant.

“Excellent food and best value in city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

Best moroccon food we tasted and at a fraction of the price of some pf the top 5 restaurants on ta.

Hard to find without attempted husslers on route, 'tanneries auction circular/closed today...' but is a must to visit - so do persevere!
