“A fantastic choice of Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

From the moment we set foot in the Riad Cocoon, Corinne and her wonderful staff made it clear that they were on hand 24 hours a day to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible.
The Riad is a clean and welcoming oasis in the hustle and bustle of the old town. It smells heavenly and offers a subtle backdrop of chilled out ambiance music enough to sooth even the most uptight of visiters. On the first night, we stayed in the lovely 'White Album' room on the second floor of the Riad. The room was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. However, we decided to upgrade to the Nirvana suite on day two (simply because it had become free and we fancied the idea of our own roof terrace). Corinne and her staff were very accommodating, moving our stuff over for us and offering a welcome discount on the upgrade.

The food and wine were very good and the attention to detail was faultless at the Riad. There is nothing I can say to fault our time there! Indeed, we had a wonderful time in Marrakech - much of which was down to the helpfulness of all the staff at the Riad Cocoon, of whom I was genuinely sorry to have to say goodbye to at the end of our three night staff.

I hope to go back to Marrakech some time in the near future and would definitely go back to Riad Cocoon, without doubt, and another BIG thank you to Corinne and everyone else for making our time with you so special.

Room Tip: The Nirvana suite is excellent if you like the privacy of a roof terrace all to yourselves. However...

From the moment we booked our trip to the Riad Cocoon we knew we had made a good choice, the owner Corinne emailed us to confirm the details, to arrange a transfer from the airport and gave us the option of having dinner there on our first evening. We were welcomed upon arrival with mint tea and Morrocan pastries and shown to our room straight away. We stayed in the White Album room which was very nice, with rosé petals on the bed upon arrival. We had dinner twice during our stay on the roof terrace and the food was outstanding, as was the breakfast.
The Riad is ideally located and is a short walk into the Souks but far enough away to escape the thick of it. Corinne provided us with a good itinerary and the team organised all of our taxis, restaurants and tour bookings.
We would definitely recommend the Riad Cocoon and it is an absolute must to try the food and the hammam!

The Riad Cocoon is a sensational place to stay amid the busyness of Marrakech. From the moment I entered the Riad I felt welcomed, special and relaxed. The rose petals on the bed, the welcoming mint tea and Moroccan delicacies, the amazing food and service was exceptional as was the beautiful wine. Corinne the owner and key host was amazing in arranging without fuss trips, adventures and visits to places not part of the usual tourist haunts. Her staff was so attentive and friendly as was the hamman, facials and manicures at the end of a busy day wandering through the Medina were so relaxing and professionally done. If you want to stay in a beautiful small place where you feel special then Riad Cocoon is the place. Cannot recommend it enough.

Room Tip: Some rooms are larger than others... BUT all are beautiful. Advise you ask Corinne about what size...

After a last minute desicion we booked ourselves into "Riad Cocoon"
A few days later we were travelling by ferry and car from the South of Spain to Marrakesh.
With the help from Tarik we quickly booked in into "Riad Cocoon"
Being located in the middle of the old town it is convenient for exploring the town.....
Arrival was just what we needed after our 7 hour trip. Lovely host (Corinne) took care of everything very efficiently and together with the Tea and the dates we found ourselves having a bath, scrub and massage only just after arrival, absolutely lovely.....
Dinner on the roof terrace is romantic and very tastefull.
All I can say is if you are looking for a great place and the best hospitality book yourself into Riad Cocoon.
A big thank you from us to Corinne and her team......

The location for the Riad is ideal. It is 5 mins walk from the koranic school, 5 mins from the madness of the souks (which are great to wander through and try out some bartering) and 10-15 mins from Djemma el Fna. There are a number of restaurants within 5 mins as well (although the food is the Riad on arrival was great).

The Riad is tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Purple Haze room which was a nice size, well furnished and we were provided with some local fruits and bottled water.

The Breakfasts were a true feast - bread, crepes, cake, fruit, coffee, Orange juice.

The key attribute of the Riad were the staff. Corinne was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and organised a taxi from the airport and a guide on the first day. Whenever we wanted anything her team were very happy to provide recommendations, make bookings for us, connect us to the free wifi and lots more.

My mom and I had an amazing time in Marrakech mostly due to our experience at Cocoon! Corinne planned everything for us, and she and her staff were extremely helpful. Great location, beautiful riad, super friendly staff... everything was just great!

I'd never been to Marrakech before and this Riad is int he perfect location in the north of the Medina. The room was really comfy and clean and the food was delicious. The staff were super helpful - giving us loads of dinner recommendations and advise on what to do - and they were very accommodating with any questions, requests we had. We really felt there was a thoughtful, personal touch that is often missing in other hotels - and the treatments were great. We had a traditional hamman and a back massage which was as good as any I've had in London. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend to other travellers.

Room Tip: the top room has it's own roof terrace which is gorgeous, we had the green room which was very c...
