“Review of Spa only”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

I did not stay at the hotel but did use the Spa. Very clean. I have never had a Hammam wash before and it was decadent. Great massage, I also had the foot massage after walking around all day sight seeing. The girls were angels. I've had massages in Australia and Thailand and this was better. (The others were good, too!)
Cost was reasonable. Staff very attentive. No hanky panky (sign of a professional spa to me).
Did mean to tag the "sleep" review box but can't undo it! Not relevant.

Stayed for 4 nights in June. Fab location, beautifully presented, clean, helpful staff and has everything you need.
Room wasn't massive but had all we needed and as was in bottom floor had a nice lounge right outside room. Lots of lounging places around the hotel. Rooftop pool is small bit perfect to cool off after a day walking around the medina.
Highly recommend !

When we were looking for hotels, riad bahia salam stood out because of the very neutral and simplistic decor and when we contacted them, Sophie was incredibly helpful in getting the arrnagements done. Still, we were not fully prepared for the experience. The rooms are great (we stayed in the Marrakech suite) the colors are a muted cream with a hint of gold, and the bathrooms are a delicious sorbet blue. All of the moroccan decor was incorporated so beautifully into the design aesthetic it seemed so organic and in place.
Service: We were greeted at the airport by the Noradeen and he literally walked us to everyplace we needed to go and made it so personal. He personally made all the dinner reservations and took us to the souk vendor who sold more quality stuff. Fanan was equally great in making sure all of our dining needs were met.
We had the traditional welcome with mint tea, cookies and washing of hands with rose water. Turn down service was great. The rooms and the surrounding common spaces and roof top was impeccably clean and well maintained. I personally witnessed the ladies cleaning the room and they were so thorough, they put every little thing away that the room was always a haven.
If there is a drawback, it is in the fact that this riad does not have a pool but everything else took care of it.

We booked our tours through them and you might find cheaper options through other tour operators but we loved the personal attention throughout the tour. The price differential was not that great.

We stayed here for 5 days and can honestly say that we found the best Riad in Marrakesh. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and the Riad itself was an oasis of tranquility.. Could not recommend it more. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we were waved off, the staff at Riad Bahia Salam exceeded any expectations we had for our stay. We recieved a lovely warm reception of mint tea and patisseries and were blown away by the amazing tradional decor of this lovely Riad. Our rooms were absolutely lovely and were cleaned every morning. The roof top terrace was an amazing place to sun bath, swim and have dinner lunch or breakfast, or simply just to relax. All the staff were very helpful, informative, friendly and most spoke Arabic, French and English quite well. We really could not have asked for more even the location was perfect.

As our first lodging in Morocco we were comfortable and happy with this Riad. We stayed 2 nights. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The location was within walking distance to the market, Jemaa el Fna. It was on a main street but there wasn't street noise in our room due to the windows facing into the beautiful center. The roof-top balcony was wonderful to hang out and view the city and street below. Breakfast is included. It was basic fruit, bread, coffee, and orange juice but tasty. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a room underneath the restaurant so it was noisy with dishes, walking, music until 10 pm but...
