“The calm in a storm!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

This Riad is not much to look at from outside but is beautifully and traditioanlly decorated inside with wonderful rooms and a roof terrace with fantastic views that gives you a great perspective of the city. It's ideally located within walking distance of everything you could wish to see and the staff are friendly. We even ate there a couple of times as the food was really good and reasonably priced. After the madness of Marrakesh it was really nice to have somewhere within walking distance that you could come back to and feel relaxed. The staff also booked us a taxi to the airport and put on an early breakfast as we were leaving before usual breakfast hours. Could not have wished for a better Riad for our first visit to Marrakesh. Would strongly recommed to others.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to the center of Marrakesh and who wants to spend a relaxing holiday. Bahia Salam provided me the relaxation I needed- great staff, beautiful hotel and great location! I am usually the complaining type- but I have nothing to say against this little treasure ... oh and when you are there, ask for "Hassan"! Great guy!

It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you enter the Riad Bahia Salam is a beautiful and cosy hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and it is well-located near to the main square (less than 5 minutes walk away). My only gripe was the lack of variety at breakfast, the rather hard mattresses and the fact that the hot water in our room was never really that hot. But other than that it is a great place to stay - oh, and make sure you visit the spa for a traditional Moroccan hammam. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We were very dubious when we turned up at the Riad & Spa Bahia Salam as it is in the middle of a noisy, dusty street right next to the main square. However, we soon came to appreciate it's handy location, quiet rooms and wonderful masseuses! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it really is great value for money. They are happy for you to consume your own alcohol on the terrace and provide glasses and snacks with a smile. The rooms aren't spacious but the comfy bed, safe, TV, fridge and lashings of hot water made up for it. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a hidden jewel! It looks like nothing from the outside, but the second you step inside, you are blown away by its beauty! I had a lovely, romantic time there. The rooms are so beautifully and traditionally furnished that I sometimes preferred to stay in bed with my girlfriend than go outside! This is a really beautiful place and the service is great. If I ever go back to Morocco, I know where I'll stay! I highly recommend it.

This a treasure in the heart of Marrakesh! My girlfriend and I had picked this hotel according to its reviews and we knew it would be quite the good time. Yet, our experience has been way more than that! The staff is ever-smiling, welcoming and there to serve you. They respect your privacy, help you as much as they can and provide an amazing service. The hotel is unbelievably close to to everything and is so well centered and so beautifully designed that I like to think of it, at the end of a long, touristic day, as the oasis where I go to rest, and enjoy a good smoke in the Terrace. I am SO glad I chose Riad Bahia Salam!

This is a great hotel/spa located within Medina. From the outside, it is nothing but a door on a bustling street, however once inside you are taken to a whole new world. So relaxing, no street noise, beautiful decor. The rooftop terrace is a great way to end or begin your day in the city. It is approximately 300 meters from the market, 200 meters from palace and Jewish quarter, making it a great location for exploring Marrakech
