“Great cozy homely boutique Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

We have a quadruper room for 3 nites in between our visit to Marrakech and Merzouga. The riad situated at the end of Zitoune Lakdim(not accesible by taxi). Easier if u get the taxi to drop u at other end of street, a little medina named "Babel Malah" which is less than 50 meter to the Riad.
The riad only has 7 rooms which make it very cozy and homely. Excellent front desk staff Kareem and Abdul whom speak decent English and brief u all the tricks dealing with local /touters and places to visit.
Breakfast and bed were made daily by the two excelent chambermaids.

Highly recommened!

“RIad Nesma November 2012”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

We have just spent 4 nights in the city of Marracech stopping at the Riad Nesma. After reading many reviews in Trip Advisor I chose this Riad as it fit in with our budget and and I have to say we were not disappointed.

Unlike some, the Riad is acually very easy to find, however again upon advice we prebooked a taxi through the riad before we arrived. If you are a first timer to the city I would strongley recommemend paying a bit extra and doing this.

The Riad itself was beautiful. I beleive it only has 7 rooms. Ours was was small but prefectly adequate for our stay.
Kahrim and the other riad staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and answered any questions we had even down to recommending what they thought was a good price for items we were unsure aboout.

We met anotther couple staying in a different Riad who had paid twice as much as us. Whilst they had much larger rooms they complained of cold water and the location was far out and difficult to find.

I cannot recommend the Riad Nessma highly enough. Its clean, comfortable, perfect location for the market sqaure (5-10mins walk down one street), reasonably priced and had wonderful staff who made whole stay so much more enjoyable.

“Clean and friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

The place is clean, service is frienly and it's close to the square.
There is a taxi station a few steps left of the Riad, but if feels like a tourist trap. The taxi there charge more than if you were to grab a cab a bit further away, 20DH instead of 50-90DH. Beware the taxi drivers next to that taxi station will try to pull your luggage into the taxi parking area.

The TV didn't work nor did the washroom door lock at the main floor. They have a safe where you can put your things, but the combination reset didn't work, so we had to use one of their keys (they have a copy of this key, so be careful).

We got our laundry done by them, and when asked how much it was, they said "don't worry, it is cheap" a small bag of clothes cost 210DH! That's way too much. They said it is because of the different colors and that cost more. It was quite deceiving.

The friendliness and the cleanness of the place is worth it.

The excursions booked at the riad was a good price, we found we paid 100 to 300DH less than others on excursions.

The sahara excursion is nice, beware of the nauseating car ride!
The mountain excursion was disappointing. The mountain had up to 7 cascades (waterfalls), the more you want to see the more you pay. The first 3 cascades are mediocre and small.

“great service in the riad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012 via mobile

It's a not bad location, it's the end of the street from the market sqaure. We actually found it a very difficult walk from the market, especially the first day when u have your luggages and the streets and stores are terribly indicated. The street was narrow, and lots of people imposed themselves to offer u the directions.
But once we arrived at the riad, it's fantastic. the service was excellent, the guys really helped and reassured us from the chaos, and gave us the survival guide in marrakesh. ( they pretty much booked all the excursions for us with very little commision fee, conpared to the other riads) They simply replace the tourist infomation center ( which was always closed everytime we passed by)
