“Poor service but lots of tasty food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

Do not go here if you are in a rush, or already hungry. In a city where slow service is the norm (at least in ordering and getting the bill) this was the worst. We were roundly ignored by the staff and the man that eventually took our order was clearly annoyed at having to do so. But there was a good choice on the menu and when the food arrived it was delicious. There were lots of extras like olives, fruit, and lovely biscuits. Harissa soup was nice and my partners lamb tagine was great. I had turkey kebabs that were really tasty and juicy and the cous cous was good. A bit pricey compared to other places with similar fare. It pays to be brought in by one of their touts. The touts made sure their customers were served quicker.

“very very bad and also very expensieve.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

I was there this evening and it was one big mistake. bread as hard as a stone. salade made with very bad tomato. I had a tajine that was so really bad. This place you have to pay 180 dirhams for a salade a meal and some fruit (orange or apple) and a tea.

don't make a mistake and leave this place.

“Too noisy, too busy.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Not authentic cuisine only geared for tourists. A good location and pleasant staff and prices are good too. However you can find more of the true taste of Marrakech in other establishments,

“lovely traditional resturant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

set meal for 180D ( about £15), lovely meal, lots of choices, and loads of freebie extras ( olives, bread, pastries, dates, fruit and soft drinks) the service is good and the price very reasonable for huge portions of well prepared, tasty food, in a picturesque Riad, the restaurant was busy and my only complaint would be the lack of music, as it made fellow customers a bit whispery i think!!

“Good honest food with no pretense”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

I always think Moroccan food is a little bland, but we didn't have time to study the menu and be a little more adventurous. The view from the roof is stunning. We had kebabs and couscous with lamb and vegetable tagine. The whole thing was delicious and the piece de resistence were little sweet round biscuits a bit like shortbread but lighter with fennel seeds. I loved them so much that the waiter gave us a little parcel of them to take home with us. Very nice waiters, helpful and polite.
