“Great Creperie a slice of France at the far side of town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Well worth the trip, exceedingly French (Bretagne) plus parrot, but a welcome and inexpensive way to enjoy lunch away from the rigours of Marrakech and rest of ugly area French/Euro District.

As previous person says £20 with cider for 2 pax. Tasty and entertaining environs.

“Brit H+S would have a field day great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

There was so much written on here about this place we decided to venture out and try for ourselves. Only a ten minute walk from the hotel, we got there fairly easily until the last few yards as it is quite insignificant from the outside. It does have outside seating but to be honest I was happy when we were ushered inside as the road is busy and I don't like fumes when eating.
Whilst inside seating is easy , either on the left or right with two big tables for all.
The manager / waiter was French and very charming. Off course his parrot is an ice breaker. Can you imagine it being allowed to sit in an English bar. This parrot walked along the table, likes men and loved my can of coke picking it up and drinking from it.
Food wise brilliant the creeps were filling were wonderfully made and it was great to have a sweet too for a change. It was a pleasurable meal and had we had time we would returned. Can't recommend it enough, watch the parrot though, fascinating to watch him tear apart a cork very intricately. Cost for two inc drink around £20 , the cider was lovely.

“Small, Quirky, Good Food and Prices - oh and a parrot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

The look of this place from the outside does not do it justice. It is off one of the main roads and if you go after dark may have trouble finding it easily. Do not be put off and think you have the wrong place, it is worth the trip.
The indoor area seats only 20 and along two long tables, so if you dont want to sit and talk to others then this could be a problem! Inside you will find a slice of france and if your french is really bad then the owner will translate the menu for you !
There are a good selection of both savoury and sweet crepes and you really should try both ! We had a big group so were able to order a good selection and nobody had a bad choice but the chorizo savoury and caramel sweet crepes were the most popular.
The atmosphere was amazing and the addition of a 7 year old , coke drinking, parrot made the whole evening one to remember.
Would definitely recommend as a change from the night market hubub.

“Would go again anytime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

A group of 8 stayed in Marrakech and decided on dinner here by using the Trip Advisor app. We were not disappointed and such a shame we didn't have time to go again. The star attraction is Hook the grey parrot - a real character however the food was so delicious. We had a savory and a sweet crepe and they were made perfectly. It's not the biggest place at all so if you get there and it's full, it's worth waiting for a table.
