If you only do three things in Marrakech, make sure this is one of them (the other two being the madrassa Ben-Youssef and the Jemma-el-Fna).
La Maison hosts impressive vintage photography of Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains which should please photography enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike - the photographs are very much people-centered, and most are truly excellent, impressive, even breathtaking.
As if that was not enough, it has a fantastic rooftop cafe with truly excellent views to the Atlas mountains, which also serves delicious food.
My only minor complaint is that the - fascinating - colour film made by a french anthropologist of the Atlas mountains and its tribes does not have english or any other subtitles.
Make sure you go - the museum receives no public subsidy, so it depends entirely on paying visitors.
