“Great insight into life as a Moroccan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

The exhibits are always changing but consistently show the changing face of Morocco over the last 150 years. Great value for money (the ticket gets you unlimited access for the length of your stay). Be sure to have a drink or lunch on the terrace roof - great view and great food!

“Evocative photographs and a very good panorama from the terrace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The collection is broad enough in subject matter but doesn't take too long to work your way around. The main focus is early 20th century photos showing life in the Medinas of Morocco, allowing you to compare Marrakech to the other cities. The terrace offers reasonable but unexciting food. The main draw must be the view from the top, which offered the most open panorama I found in the city.

“linger on the top floor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

One of the few things that I regularly enjoy in Marrakech. It's often not very crowded and very relaxing on the roof, where drinks are served. They've done a great job- a shame they don;t produce any books and don't rotate the exhibitions enough...

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This is certainly worth the visit. The museum is interesting and very informative. The small fee for a ticket allowed you re-entry which was worth while as the food in the terrace was lovely.

“A little sanctuary in the city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

We went to look at the museum and though the building was lovely, the photographs did not really do it for me and overall I was not too enraptured by the place
