“a sense of history and a great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

We had read about this museum on Trip Advisor before going to Marrakech and weren't disappointed. Fascinating photos of Marrakech and other places in Morocco. It is always interesting to be reminded that what we are seeing didn't always look like it does now. The meal on the terrace was one of the best we had in Marrakech. Looking out at the High Atlas and hearing the call to prayer from the many mosques made for a magical moment.

“Interesting but not worth going out of your way for.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Interesting opportunity to see some pictures and marvel at how Morocco has changed over the years however this wasn't particularly well presented and there was no particular attempt to engage the visitors.

Food on the terrace was good and the views were fantastic!

“Truly amazing photographs.”

The wonderful photos and ambience of the Maison visually informs of the history of Morocco. I can find no fault or anything I disliked about the Maison de la Photographie.

“A bit hard to find, but well worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

After trying to be redirected to the tanneries or 'big square' we found some signs and followed them to the Maison de la Photographie. Beautiful gem of a museum. Fantastic photos of turn of the century morocco. All photos available for purchase - they didn't have what I wanted in the right size so had it printed up and brought to our riad. Would highly recommend.
