“It has gone down hill”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

I have stayed here several times and each time it just gets worse, This time I arrived with a group of clients and they had not got enough rooms for us, they tried several times to over charge me. I ate at the restaurant attached and again tried to over charge me which I think is very disrespectful as my family have been using this place for business for years.
At dinner there wasn't enough food for us so we politely asked for more.
Wifi available but a little temperamental, Card machine is also temperamental but there is a cash machine in the next village which is a lovely walk away.
The rooms are good don't get me wrong if your wanting a stop off ideal.
It was nice to see the swimming pool at its finished point but sadly there was too many dead bugs and debris for me to want to swim in it. I won't be returning again.

We wanted to do a day walk in the Zat Valley and needed somewhere convenient to stay. This hotel looked quite basic on the Internet so we weren't expecting much but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had a room upstairs with a little leafy balcony overlooking the large pool. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The food was adequate without being special. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful and organised a guide to take us for a hike in the Zat Valley at short notice. He was a very obliging person and certainly went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. By the way, the walk in the Zat Valley was excellent and we'd highly recommend it. We got a close up view of how the people farm their land, graze their goats and sheep, and live in the villages. Our visit to the school for 5 and 6 year olds was a delight.

Room Tip: The rooms upstairs were brighter and of a higher standard.

This place is not somewhere you would book but if you are traveling and need somewhere to stop off for the night its perfect. Nice staff, good food, nice wine, rooms are alright but nothing special. There is also a pool that looks alright but it was a bit cold for that sort of think when we were there.

We stayed here for a spontaneous night as a stop-over during a long journey from the desert to the coast. We hadn't booked beforehand, but the staff were quick to welcome us and get a roaring fire and delicious dinner ready in the restaurant. The room was simple but adequate, with a very comfy bed and plenty of blankets. It had a nice pool and outdoor seating area, which we didn't use as it was too cold, but would be lovely in the summer. All in all, a great hotel that I'd recommend to any traveller.

After driving across the Atlas pass towards Marrakech this was a welcomed and spontaneous overnight stay. Simple but clean and very welcoming staff. Rooms basic but clean and quiet. Hot shower with good meal and breakfast included in price. Recommended as a reasonable price, basic hotel about 1 hour easy drive to the Marrakech airport.

We arrived here mid evening after crossing the pass over the Atlas, without a booking - but no problem, a friendly welcome and a specially prepared meal was on offer. The room was basic and had a few faults (notably a leaking sink and a broken door handle), but we got a comfortable and undisturbed night's sleep and a hot shower. Excellent value, too.
