We did a lot of seeking for a moderately priced riad with great Moroccan style. Happily, Riad Almoulouk was as good as it was billed.

The courtyard is beautiful. Wonderfully tiled, relaxing furniture, plentiful mint tea... The bedrooms in particular are a delight. We chose Suite Jasmin and it was a stunner. From its sunken living space, to the exposed brick work and original ceiling, to the horseshoe wall arch, and the brass fittings - the room was wonderful. We loved being in that space and made each return to the riad very satisfying. We took a look at the some of the other rooms too and found them to be just as good looking as pictured on the website.

The breakfast was relatively standard, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. A great stay in a very romantic spot!

This Riad, we found by chance, was the nicest place we have been to in Marrakesh. What a lovely warm atmosphere thanks to Nadja and the other women taking care about the guests! Thank you for everything! The rooms are large and beautiful decorated. Very clean and rose leaves make you feel as a very special guest of this house. The breakfast with home made crepes and joghurt (just deliciouse), served on the roof terrasse was relaxing and a great start for the morning. At night the whole house is decorated with candles and lamps. Only disadvantage is the coverage of the patio because the "natural" Air condition is cut of, but is replaced by air condition in every room (understandable because the patio is lovely decorated with wonderful furniture that would break under rain). It is located 5 minutes away from Djemna el Fnaa in the heart of medina in a calm and clean little street. The stuff is very helpful and makes everything possible (even a diet dinner not announced before!).

Riad Almoulouk is an excellent, beautiful Riad located conveniently in the Medina, just 2 minutes walk from the main square. We stayed in the Riad for 4 nights in total and in 2 different rooms. Both rooms are nice and comfortable. Beds are big and clean, rooms are spacious, there is hot water for bath and shower, and also free fast internet in the Riad. You can expect European standard from this riad. Nice deco, good quality towels, big beds.

The riad staff are very friendly and honest. Fast email replies, and breakfast is great! They are always smiling. And we always get a nice pot of sweet mint tea when we return to the riad after a day of shopping. For us, there are several reasons why we will for sure return to the riad if we visit Marrakech again.

One, we had a very personal and special welcome by the riad when we arrived. As we were on our honeymoon, they prepared a lovely cake, snacks and moroccan wedding drinks for us as a surprise. Our bed was decorated with rose petals in a heart shape, very romantic and certainly a good start for our honeymoon.

Two, we had problems with sending our moroccan lamps at the post (either it was a public holiday, or the parcel service for the day has ended by 4pm, or the Post ran out of big boxes to put our lamps) and the riad helped us with sending the lamps as we had to urgently rush to the airport after our last attempt to post. We paid a bit extra for the trip to the Post and the postage, and was glad that we really received the lamps within 2 weeks (you never know what happens at the Moroccan Post).

Three, we love the tea and breakfast, they have a good cook there.

Four, we trust them with our things. We left our luggage and the lamps we bought at the riad and left for 5 days to the desert. When we came back, our room was prepared with the luggage already brought there. Everything is still in the bag, all untouched.

Five, good quality rooms and fast wireless internet. Peaceful Riad for us to relax.

Overall, I highly recommend Riad Almoulouk to anyone staying in Marrakech. Small riad, very moroccan style, very personal. The riad is located in a small lane in the Medina and is not extremely accessible by car although it is possible. We tried it while on airport transfer. It's amazing how the driver can maneuver through the small lanes. A great experience.

what a lovely place to stay! it was amazing to find this paradise in the middle of the crazyness. the service was outstanding. we had dinner cooked for us one night and it was superb! our only disapointment was that we could not stay longer!
