“Way above ALL my expectations!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

We came to Marrakech last year and stayed at Riad Adore. This when the idea of celebrating my big 50 was born as we liked it so much. After a meeting with the lovely Mandy i was made aware that by the following year the capacity of Riad Adore would be extended to 10 rooms. A year in the making the party took place last weekend and i am still on cloud nine!
We took over 2 and half of the four Pure Riads: Dar Hanane, Riad Tzarra where a cocktail party was hosted on one of the 2 nights and Riad Adore where the main birthday party took place.
Having Mandy organising everything to the smallest details made it very easy from the UK and communication was very constant and clear.
The only one thing i was a bit nervous about, following the progress on Facebook, was wether the building work would be finished on time! It was the day before our arrival! As a result we were the first people to christen the second half of Riad Adore. Simply beautiful, elegant and chic!
I could write for ever about it but i can only sum it up by saying that if you ever want to celebrate something special in Marrakech the only people to do it with is the Pure Riads team!
My party exceeded all the expectations that i had and all my guests are still talking about it. I could not have asked for more. The quality of the service, the kindness of all the staff, the unique atmosphere made it into a VERY special weekend that will be remembered for years to come.
Stuart, Mandy and all the team thanks again SO much.

We stayed here for a 50th birthday party and we couldn't have been to a better place. Stuart and Mandy were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The Riad looks amazing and is an oasis of total peace amongst the bustle of Marrakech, but is less than 5 minutes walk from the Souks and 10 from Djemma El Fna. The local staff are all very helpful and friendly. The great service here extends to being escorted to and from restaurants late at night. Riad adore has just been doubled in size, the rooms are all lovely and all different, and as it is two Riads in one, has four separate areas on its large meandering roof terrace to sun bathe, eat and chat. Loved it! As with all Riads in Marrakech, you must walk the final couple of hundred yards from the taxi drop off point, but our transfers were pre arranged and we were met and guided through the medina's warren of streets.

I stayed at both Riad Bel Haj and Riad Adore, two of Stuart's 5 riads in Marrakech, from 17-30 April 2013. What a find! These are two 4 and 5 roomed riads that are sumptuously and tastefully decorated, yet still cosy and with a great family atmosphere. The staff are truly amazing and they will help with anything that you need. One of the riad ladies took me to the local barber, sat there while I got my beard trimmed then escorted me back to the riad. The night guard called me on my mobile one night, when I stayed out later than planned, just to make sure I was safe.

The riads are located in the middle of the old city and very accessible to the markets. You will of course get lost in the narrow streets at first but that's all part of the fun! Excellent breakfast served on the terrace or the courtyard and beautifully cooked dinners available at night if required. I would definitely recommend staying at these riads.

We stayed at Riad Adore for a week this spring - it is exquisite. The riad is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the staff are so friendly and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was spacious and luxurious, beautifully decorated with a kaftan on the wall, a sumptious deep bath and the bed was particularly comfortable.
The breakfasts are to die for: warm fresh bread and croissants, juices, fresh pastries, eggs, pancakes etc. beautifully served on the roof terrace or in the courtyard by the pool...heaven. If you order an evening meal, prepare to be treated like a king (or queen) and to be served the most delicious food prepared especially for you.
If you plan to visit the Souk or do a bit of exploring, the manager is incredibly helpful, and will explain everything that you need to know and provide maps, guides etc. Charming owner Stuart was on hand to advise with restaurants etc. in the evenings, couldn't have been more helpful. All in all a wonderful trip, and a brilliant experience: we look forward to returning!

Room Tip: All the rooms looked good; ours was on the first floor with a lovely view to the internal courtyard...

My wife and I plus our daughter and boyfriend stayed at the Riad Adore for 4 nights. We splashed out and booked the Bahia suite which was spacious and spotless, our daughter had one of the other rooms which was also great. Positives were a) the rooftop terrace which was a cool place to hang out and have breakfast b) the breakfasts - amazing bread from the bakery next door, fruit plus always something slightly different (croissants, pastries, omelettes etc) c) the service was perfect, from Stuart the English owner who booked trips and restaurants for us, to the staff who were amazingly friendly, smiling and helpful d) we had dinner there the first night and it was brilliant and e) the location was great. Negatives? Well - having to come home!

Wonderful trip to Marrakech and stayed at the most beautiful riad that is Riad Adore. It is well named as we adored our stay there from start to finish - really didn't want to go home. The staff are superb, the riad beautiful and so tastefully decorated and everything was just perfect. Thank you so much for pampering us so tenderly - we will be back !

Room Tip: If you can stretch your budget a bit, the Bahia Suite is unbelievably beautiful

We stayed in Riad Adore for two nights after a three-night visit in to the Atlas Mountains.
Our room (Safia) was the cheapest but was still beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.
Some of the other rooms looked vast and even more sumptuous. We booked a meal on the terrace on our first night and this was just fantastic. The firepit was lit and the curtains were drawn to keep out the chill of a February night in Marrakech (recommend bringing a jumper this time of year)!
We are vegetarian but this gave no problem to the excellent and friendly cook at the riad ... it was the most delicious and tasty food we've had for years! Breakfast was just as yummy and immaculately served. We noticed that all the staff were very happy in their work and this radiated out to the whole atmosphere of the riad.
One really minor niggle ... it really is like staying in a (large) house and you can hear others snoring!!
We will definitely recommend to our friends and hope to return as well.

Room Tip: Book a better room only if you intend to spend lots of time in it ... the riad's terrace is love...
