“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Dont be put off by medieval alleyways, Riad Adore is absolutely worth the visit. A designer haven of loveliness. The best food we found anywhere in Marrakesh, served on an incredibly beautiful roof terrace by absolutely lovely staff.

From the moment they sit you down on arrival for a cup of sweet tea and an orientation of the Medina, you feel like you are staying in a home, not a hotel.

You can see the moon through the coutryard ceiling. And there's Wifi. Marvellous

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

I stayed here for my 40th birthday, 4 nights and have absolutely nothing but great comments about this place. Amazing staff, beautiful breakfast served on the rooftop terrace, brilliant location, super clean place with jasmine scented oil burning to make it all smell gorgeous! Such a peaceful haven in a busy, crazy city, great to just sit and relax after a hard days sight seeing! Nothing is too much trouble, help with itineraries, booking restaurants, private rooftop terrace dinner sorted for my birthday meal, recommendations and the list goes on. We cannot wait to return!

Room Tip: All of them are excellent

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful riad. It was quiet and peaceful, and we were so well looked after by all of the staff. It is very stylish and beautifully decorated, our room was beautiful! The food is also fantastic, our meals on the roof terrace at night were a real highlight. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone wanting to stay in Marrakech and get the full experience! It is in a great location, close to the Souks and loads of amazing restaurants too.

Three nights in this sublime riad were simply not enough - we were spoilt something awful by the wonderful staff and didn't want to go home at the end of our stay. The riad is quite beautiful - owned by an English couple who obviously have great taste - the decor is exquisite. We had dinner on the roof tearrce during our stay and it was one of the most romantic evenings we have ever spent together - the food was divine, the wine surpisingly good, the music soothing and the odd call to prayer only added to what was already an amazing ambience. Thank you to all the staff - we will not hesitate to recommend Pure Riads to all our friends here in the UK.
PS Also had a superb hammam and nmassage at Riad Tzarra, owned by same people - it was also an experience not to be missed.

Had dinner on the roof terrace of this sumptuous riad whilst staying at Dar Hanane (owned by the same English couple). It wasn't all that chilly in April but the log fire and the candles on the terrace made the evening absolutely perfect. The food was the best we had during our stay in Marrakech and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this divine riad. We were fortunate enough to meet the owner, Stuart, who was quite lovely and told us all about how the business had started and gave us so much useful information about Morocco and Marrakech - we loved it all - thank you so much ! Next time we come back to Marrakech, we will definitely try Riad Adore !

We chose this lovely Riad based on the number of positive reviews that we read before visiting Marrakech for first time earlier this month, and yet still our expectations were exceeded! We arrived in Marrakech about 4pm in the afternoon, having been picked up promptly from the airport as promised. We were driven as close to the Riad as possible and had about a 5 minute walk as our luggage was carried for us and we were escorted to the Riad. It was hot and sticky and we were lead through a maze of cobbled streets and alleyways, and while they were beautiful, seemed dusty and narrow, dodging mopeds and dockeys along the way - we wondered what we had let ourselves in for! On being greeted at the door by the friendliest of staff, and being welcomed to sit and relax with pot of mint tea, with the gentle aroma of jasmine in the air, it made this oasis seem a world apart from the bustling city we had just caught a glimpse of.

We met Stuart, the owner, who was lovely and talked us through the do's and don'ts of Marrakech as well as showing us a very comprehensive and useful guide which we had in our room and referred to regularly. Also a very useful map, with their phone number should we get utterly lost.

Our room was fantastic. It was beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and very spacious. Each bedroom was air-conditioned, there was a TV and DVD player, IPod dock, hair-dryer and lovely bathroom tioletries, which were replaced every day. The library was just outside our room along with the honestly bar which we really liked - it was lovely to be able to help yourself to a bottle of wine or beer before going out to dinner in the evening. On our first evening we shared a bottle of wine with another couple staying in the Riad and it demonstrated just how relaxed and friendly the atmosphere was.

We also had a wonderful dinner in the Riad on our first night, up on the roof terrace. There was an abundance of food, all of which was fantastic. The atmosphere was very romantic, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

The location was excellent being so close to all souks and the main square. We loved exploring all the lanes and souks, learning to barter hard to get a good bargain before coming back for a dip in the chilled and refreshing plunge pool. Nearby restaurants were also very good for both lunch and dinner.

Overall we had a wonderful 4 night stay. My only reservation about telling people of lovely this Riad, is that it will be fully booked when we want to go back! Wonderful and charming owner, a friend in the future we hope, friendly welcoming staff and an oasis behind a large grey door in a hot bustling city - what more could you want?

Room Tip: They are all fantastic - you would not be disappointed.
