“Stylish, tranquil luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We have just returned from a four night stay here. I agree with all the positive things already mentioned. I was attracted to this property by the mix of African and local Moroccan style. I thought the hotel was very stylish and well appointed. Our standard suite was spacious and comfortable. The gardens are lovely and made for a tranquil backdrop for relaxation. The sun beds were very comfortable too. I was impressed by how well the property is maintained and managed. Breakfast is plentiful and there is a good variety of local and European dishes on the lunch and dinner menus. We thought the food was very good with generous portions.Alcohol is available.

We very much appreciated the warm, relaxed and professional service from all the staff.

We booked directly with the hotel and our room rate included transfers to and from the airport and transport in to Marrakech. Be aware, when I checked the hotel booking sites the room rate was the same but transport was not included.

The hotel is about 25 minutes outside Marrakech with nothing in the immediate surrounds. We had a wonderful relaxing time here- it was just what we needed. If you have never visited Marrakech though you may prefer to stay in the Medina at least for part of the time.

While in London with a friend, we took a short break to Marrakech. My friend had stayed at this hotel previously, so on her recommendation we booked one of their cottages/suites for our 4-night stay. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. Even though we were outside the city, twice we arranged for car/driver to take us where we wanted. We had breakfast and dinner each night at the hotel. We enjoyed having breakfast right outside the room, and it was not a problem for the staff to set up our little table and deliver all of the food, exquisitely prepared and presented. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a hotel. Whether for a romantic stay or just a quiet break, it is perfect!

We have stayed in many more expenisive boutique Hotels across the world and have paid far more so this exceeded our expectations. The African themed luxury suites are huge with lovely bathrooms, four poster beds and seating areas with well mainatined enclosed gardens. Breakfast is laid out every morning and the morroccan pancakes and mint tea are a treat. The swimming pool is perfect with lovely loungers and a peacful ambiance if you are looking to chill out and relax. The Hotel is located around 20 minutes from the centre of Marrakesh but provides a perfect haven for escaping the crowds. Don't overlook the food in the restaurant as the tagines are great, however you might be the only one eating! We combined a 4 night stay here with a 3 night stay in the Atlas mountains.

My husband and I stayed for two nights here and we really can't recommend it enough. It was incredible. The food tasted and looked almost Michelin star quality, the service was impeccable and the grounds were just beautiful. We booked through Secret Escapes who often have 50% off deals with the hotel so it's definitely worth looking out for an offer with them. We'd already spent four nights in the centre of Marrakech so this was the perfect place the wind down away from all the madness of the city centre.

The suite (basically a little villa that you have to yourself) was gorgeous. We stayed in a standard suite but we saw the deluxe version (when we had a massage in one) and to be honest, the only difference is the 4-poster bed and an extra bath so you aren't missing out in any way if you book the standard. The pool was a great size, the gardens (where you can dine) were always well-manicured and the library in the main building was a great space to watch a DVD on a huge screen with speakers or kick back and read something different.

The staff were brilliant, especially Abdul-Hamid who looked after us every meal and on check-in and check-out. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely recommend to family and friends :)

A group of 22 of us came to stay for a Birthday Trip and we had a really amazing time. The staff were very friendly and catered to all our needs. Would come back in a heartbeat! The location was great and all transfers were organised by the hotel and the whole trip was fantastic! Thank you!

The hotel is indisputably exquisite. Located 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Jemaa El Fna, it is an oasis of beauty and serenity. Our stay was probably slightly different from the norm in that we were a big party so had exclusive use of the hotel- something I would recommend to anyone. The staff were attentive and friendly, and were more than happy to help organise taxis and excursions, such as a group camel ride. The luxury huts themselves were beautifully designed, with modern facilities such as monsoon showers, TV, A/C etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back again!
