This is a beautiful and calm Riad in the heart of lively Marrakech. If you are looking for a nice, romantic place to stay, this is the place to be! The hostess and staff are very friendly and provide their guests with a exquisite and extensive breakfast. It made my trip to Marrakech complete! I would definitely recommend this Riad.

The choices of things to do, see, eat and drink are endless in Marakesh and Joelle and Laurant (RIAD OWNERS) were there to take care of every whim and want. They are so friendly and fun and truly inspirational in whatthey have achieved - they really wanted us to leave Marrakesh fully satisfied and pampered. This Riad has been beautifully restored in a traditional morrocan arts and crafts style with a French twist. We stayed in the room INDIA which offered ultimate privacy with an outside lounge area which is very romantic. The Main House is the center of casual social activity and includes indoor and outdoor dining areas, handsome French-style interiors for lounging and reading, and a terrace area to sunbathe and take refreshments at your leisure with h the aroma of orangre trees A short stroll from the riad is the busy town and souqs! A perfect retreat we are sure to return to! Joanna and Ben

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Riad, It was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers everywhere. Joelle and her husband were the perfect hosts and along with the staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was a very pleasant one. The roof terrace is perfect for relaxing with a bottle of wine after a crazy day spent exploring the city. The food here is also amazing, the best we sampled during our stay.

We had our own transport, and found the Riad fairly easily staying for one night at the end of an 9 day trip. The location is brilliant, and is a very nice part of Marrakech, just a few minutes walk into the main square. We arrived at the Riad and were welcomed with tea and biscuits and all the information we needed for our stay.
The Riad is amazing. Every very little detail has been well thought out. The decor, furniture, rooms and communual areas are faultless.
Breakfast was served 'when we were ready' and matched the rest of the riad.
We checked out quite late in the afternoon, and were still shown perfect hospitality with a last cup of tea!
Our stay was very short, but a perfect end to our holiday. The rooms, food and service were faultless. Joelle is the perfect host.
Thank you

Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay in this relaxing riad. It is in a perfect location in the Kasbah, with only a 15 minute walk to the 'big square'. Our room was beautifully decorated and we had no complaints through out our stay. As it was January Marrakech was colder than it usually is, and Joelle made sure that we had suitable heating and plenty of blankets. The breakfast in the morning was divine, it was a great start to the day. We also ate at the riad one of the nights during our stay- Joelle prepared a delicious meal and made the dining setting very romantic for us. Joelle was willing to go out of her way to make our holiday very special, and from what we saw she did this with every one of guests. We found the riad very friendly and relaxing, a haven from the craziness of Marrakech. As a whole we loved Marrakech- from going to see the tanneries, to going for long walks around the old and new town to haggling in the souks. We also ate very well in some gorgeous restaurants- I advise taking a good guide book so that you get some good ideas on where to eat. Joelle also arranges excursions for you throughout your stay- we went to the Atlas mountains, an absolute must do!!!!
Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family. When can we next book?!?!

This is the second time I have stayed at the Riad les Orangers - I only got home this morning and I am already planning my next trip there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The Riad is very comfortable and tranquille even though it is in the centre of the Medina - you awaken to sound of the sparrows singing in the morning. The breakfast is first class, it goes on and on with a different treat each morning. We also ate dinner there, which was a fusion of local and French cuisines. The roof terrace is an added bonus and a real sun trap and if you get too warm you can cool off in the small plunge pool in the courtyard. Joelle is very helpful and organised taxis to and from the airport and also a splendid guide (Abdel) who was very knowledgeable and was able to give us both a cultural and commercial view of Marrakech. We went to the Bains de Marrakech (twice because it was so good) and I would definitely recommend the hammam and massages.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely! You won't be disappointed with any of them.

Had a lovely stay here 14th January for a week. Lovely and peaceful in a good location not far from the main square. Joelle and her staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were lovely and set us up for our busy days. We walked for miles around nearly every inch of Marrakech. Enjoyed eating from stall 32 in the main square a few times- very good. Went on a trip to the Atlas Mountains which we would recommend. Loved haggling for things in the souks. Found Morrocan people to be friendly and willing to help. Would recommend this Riad. A great experience rather than staying in an impersonal hotel.
