“What can I say about this incredible place...Lots. Marrakech is a crazy place and once you get to the hostel the excitement is washed away in a see of pure luxury and relaxation. Thousands places to lie and chill and chat with other travellers about the incredible thins to see do, eat and buy in the red city. You can ask for tea or coffee through out the day and they are accompanied by the most incredible biscuits. Rooms and fab. Terrace is great for sun. Make sure you try the shower on Terrace!”

Stayed here for 5 nights. Was met at taxi by one of the staff who led me to the hostel and mint tea as soon as I gotin. The hostel is nice with lots of space to chill out and cchat to other guests and the staff who are really amazing and make you feel at home, expecially mohammed who is always cracking jokes.
The rooms are ok but not many power sockets, only 2 in a six bed dorm. And there is a lack of showers and toilets for the amount of guests.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will stay here again when in marrakech!

We spent 2 nights at the Marrakech rouge hostel. We were immediately greeted and offered tea and food by the staff. It was very relaxing and they offer free sheisha which is a huge bonus and really added to the time here. Highly recommend this hostel!

Staff are beyond friendly nothing is to much for them . Its a laid back hostel with a great vibe and clean for a Riad to as they can be a bit old and dirty sometimes. I stayed at the hostel outside the mian one but no issues is coming back to the other one and hanging out with other people. They also arranged a taxi and when the taxi could go no futher someone from the hostel got in and walked me the rest of the way. If you are female and a bit scared about traveling alone this hostel is for you. Great central location and the area is safe at night to walk around

This has to be one of the best backpacker hostels out there. The atmoshpere is good and if you are travelling solo then a good place to meet others and catch up on travel news and stories.
It is really easy to find following the directions they send you after booking online.
Very welcoming on arrival with a pot of tea to freshen you up and a free map of marrakesh with advice of best places to visit.
The staff interact with guests alot and are only too happy to try and help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Very clean and tidy with plenty of hang out areas on each floor. Very good breakfast included and i really loved the coffee.
The only thing they might improve on is the lack of electrical sockets for charging mobiles and laptops. They really need more.

I stayed here twice during the past week and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Great location (3 minute walk to the square), good prices, all the free tea and shisha you can stuff yourself with, free WiFi, and comfortable rooms. It's a largely young crowd so always plenty of people to meet and hang out with, but it's also peaceful enough that you're more or less guaranteed a decent night's sleep.

The only other comment I could make is on the staff - in all my travels so far I can only name one other guesthouse that made me feel so welcome. I was told more than once that "this is your home". People can say this at any place you visit, but during my stay at Rouge, I truly believed it.

Room Tip: The second building (30 seconds around the corner) tends to be a lot less lively, yet just as nice...

Can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here. The only thing that can ruin your stay are people who snore but let's face it - that can happen anywhere :D They offer free tea, wi-fi, chicha and breakfast :) They clean the hostel and change the sheets every single morning and they are just awesome - all four guys that work there and the girl as well :)

Room Tip: You can choose the roof rooms also and I think they are a bit cheaper - just don't forget to ask...
