“Very pleasant restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013 via mobile

We found this little restaurant when it was the hottest moment of the day. It was a cool oasis with delicious smells and a broad variety of fresh juices. We can recommend two things in particular the homemade hamburger and the tarte citron merinquee. Furthermore nice staff and a charming owner.

“Nice ambiance; disappointing food and response”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

This is a nice clean restaurant. There are 3 floors and we ate on the terrace with roof top views. We had lunch menu - it is a la carte. Starters are about £7 and mains about £7 - £9. Our main was fish with blinis and a sorbet. Sorbet idea was great. I had beef strips in a mushoom sauce, scalloped potatoes and tagliatelle - like strips of courgette.
If you are hungry the quantities are small. I ordered my beef medium - it came well done and tough. The next time a waiter passed I told him. He agreed, apologised and - to be fair - offered to get another one. As I was over half way through, and the other 3 with me would have had to wait, I declined and suggested maybe a complimentary dessert. After finishing he said this was not possible as I had eaten the meal. On paying, the manageress asked what the problem had been and reiterated that I shouldn't have eaten the meal. She was unwilling to make any goodwill gesture. I said I would be writing this up on Trip Advisor. She said go ahead but that writing to TA was tantamount to "blackmailing her" So - here is the report plus her comment. The low score is due to small portions, incorrectly cooked meal and her attitude.

“Not great but a break.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

Reasonably agreeable on all counts including prices for a break from Moroccan food. But maybe not worth crossing town for !
