“Nice dinner, slow staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013 via mobile

I has dinner with my wife on a wednwsday evening.
We arrived when the restaurant wasn't full yet.
We sat upstairs, in a table for two.
Staff, or kitche? was really slow. We waited for nearly an hour to have our dish!
Food was very food: fillet de poisson wit saffarn rice, and poulet a l'orange. They were really tasty, well cooked.
We enjoyed our evening and recommend the place!

“relax on roof top terrace”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

My son and I had dinner twice at the 'Dejeuner a Marrakech'. The location is excellent, close enough to the bustling Djeem Fna square but far enough for a sense of peace and relaxation. That's precisely what we did on our first visit, aiming straight for the top floor we a pergola style terrace awaits, with Moroccan style divan and welcoming shade. It was about 3pm when we were readyfor lunch, i choose a lovely goat cheese salad and a delicious and fresh Moroccan pastrie with cream and almond, my son chose the carpacio
We went back for a second time in the evening, my meal was ok, a generous plate of courgette soup but unfortunately i choose the same pudding i had before and it was disappointing, the pastry was soggy and did not taste very fresh.
The ambiance is relaxed and the staff friendly enough, the lady at the till (French?)lively and welcoming.
Price are average and without drinks one meal cost us 257dh .

“For a short break of trouble and a good meal recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

We looked for something not marrocan style for a small break! At lunch time we found this nice place, recommended in our travelguide. There unfortunatelly was no location on the tripadvisor map. So we asked for the way - and there we were! (Now we located it for the map)
We had thai chicken and the beef "chef style" plus two excellent fresh squeezed juices! The lunch was yummy and fresh aswell! No long time to wait for the meal aswell!
The terrace is lovley and the waiters are friendly.

“Give your self a treat in this spot of calm in the souk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

This was on our route between our riad and Jamaa el Fna. Very friendly and the food is a cut above the average and very much with a modern twist.
We dropped off there serveral times for a desert - all light and original - and a drink - working through thier range of fruit-juice mocktails, as well as a 'proper' meal on the terrace. Its a spot of calm in the souk.
