Listed on some websites as rooms in a hotel. Others listed accurately as apartments. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with the lounge come kitchen in the middle as you walk into apartment. The bedrooms either side. One with a balcony overlooking pool, large enough for 4 of us to sit. The other a small standing only balcony if you wanted a quick cigarrette. Fortunately i wasn't put off by others reviews which complained that nobody spoke English...blah,blah,blah. They were BRITISH as i am. You aren't in Spain or Greece you are in Africa. And no,not everybody can speak English but guess what........they can mostly speak at least 3 launguages and are very proud of that, and should be. French Berber and Arabic. If you dis[play ignorance in this Hotel or anywhere in Morocco then you will be treated differently. The reception staff had the most complaints in previous reviews. Try greetings and goodbyes and thanks yous at least in French or Arabic and you will get further. You are showing an attempt at their language and culture and so will they. Also another review said air con was turned off during the day........yes it was i noticed that. However,if you ask politley at reception to turn it on for you they will, happily. It's turned off because some people are careless and go outside for hours on end leaving it on. Carelessly wasting the worlds energy supply.
So the beds are very comfortable and spacious. Small hob for cooking but adequate. Bathroom spacious too. The lounge area had 3 sofas which were big enough to crash out on...as i did following my Birthday night out in Marrakesh. Lol....
Restaurant seemed reasonably priced. Didn't take breakfast there though. But smelt the croissants. Yum....
You are a 3 minute walk from Mohammed V where you can find smart cafes,McDonalds, Zara and more shopping. Plus the very pretty fountains that light up at night. Its around a half hour interesting walk to the Djemma El Fna,so in my opinion a good location.Close by to an Italian restaurant just turn right out of the Hotel and walk for 2o minutes.
Plenty of petit taxis passing by and the horses.
An ideal base for exploring the city. Do you really wanna sit in your room or apartment all day? If you do there is a tv and as i said its comfortable with traditional moroccon furnishings.
