We booked this hotel due to the extremely good reviews that it had already received. We were not disappointed as all the staff were extremely helpful, and because we had booked towards the end of November for our break was at a time when the hotel was quiet everything was even more peaceful and relaxing.
The room was enormous, with an extremely large and comfortable bed, large flat screen TV lounge area, two toilets, shower room, and bathroom, so no complaints.
We had breakfast each morning, and this is something we found to be very limited in availability and variety. This may have been because there were very few guests staying at the time, but there was very little choice.
The evening meal was excellent, also was priced very reasonably, so we had no complaints here, especially as it would have been very difficult to organise anything else anywhere nearby...
We would recommend a stay here.
We were able to use the indoor pool each evening, and were the only ones using it on the four occasions. It was also an excellent temperature.
The gardens are expansive and very relaxing just to look at with a variety of well established flowers and plants.
There was also a mini golf course, with small practice area but more for somebody that was used to a pitch and putt type course.
The hotel supplied free transportation into Marrakech, and Monsieur Majoub, the driver, was very accommodating with drop offs and pick ups...
Be aware that if you require transportation from the airport to the hotel, suggest you phone the hotel to see if they can organise a pick up as the taxi drivers at the airport will try to overcharge significantly....(double or three times the rate)...
The hotel info informs you that there is a golf course 100 mtrs away, in fact te entrance to the course is about 300 mtrs away, and then it is set about 3 kms down the private entrance drive. M Mahjoub was kind enough to take us there, and the staff at the club were kind enough to help organise eveything we needed. This is a very well established, although very new course, and is extremely well set out, and if you are a serious golfer well worth the visit.
