“Best Riad ever.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014 via mobile

The owners Françoise and Bernard welcomed us personaly at the airport, and drove us to the Riad Argan located in the center of the Medina. The room they gave us was beautifuly decorated. Upon arrival we had local mint tea with them ,while they explained us what to visit and how to get around in the Medina.
We stayed 1 week at the Riad and had 3 dinners prepared by the staff (real Maroccan home food). All the employees did there best to please us during our stay with success.
Thanks again Françoise and Bernard, we hope to see you on our next trip to Marrakech.

Even before we set off for Marrakech I felt confident that we had picked the right place having corresponded with Francoise on a couple of occasions. We arranged a taxi from the airport through the Riad, it made the trip into the Medina so easy (I recommend this, it was 12 Euros). Francoise met us at a car park not far from the Riad as cars cannot enter certain areas of the Medina. She is such a lovely person who went out of her way on our first night to show us the way to the main square. When we returned a pre-arranged dinner was almost ready. Being our first night arriving at about 8pm we thought it would be so relaxing to take dinner at the Riad, it was lovely meal and very nicely presented. I often worry about eating in foreign places not being one for spicy food; the meal however was really good. The Riad was like a haven away from all the noise and action of Marrakech, it was lovely inside, 5 rooms in all, 2 on the ground floor and three on the first floor, there was also a nice sun terrace on top of the building. We had breakfast in the central courtyard area as it was just a little too cool to eat outside on the sun terrace, after all it was January. The temperature was in the 20s throughout the day, which was very pleasant in short sleeves.
The location is superb as it is not far from the main square (where it all happens) and the souks. We actually ate one night in the main square at one of the food stalls which was an interesting experience and one which I would try again.
I would like to complement Francoise, Bernard and their staff at the Riad as they really looked after us.

we spent a wonderful time at the Riad Argan. It's a beautiful place in the heat of Marrakech, with a very central location to the busy main square. As you step in the Riad, it's like an oasis of calm and quiet. The Riad itself it's beautiful and very clean with traditional Moroccan decoration and ambient. All the team was very nice and hepful in every way. Francoise offers us a Taxi from the airport for 12 euros and it wsas worth it that the driver walked us straight to the door of the hotel which overwise would have been very hard to find on our firt day. We highly recommended Riad Argan for a stay to everyone.

We spent a really good time at Marrakech and specially in the Riad Argan. The hospitality and attentions the owners Bernard and Francoise and their team Mahassin and Soufiane make you feel like if you were at home. We will recomend this Riad to all our friends

Riad Argan is just perfect. The location could not be better - you are minutes away from the main square but as you step into the Riad it's like an oasis of calm and quiet. Every room is exquisite - we stayed in the Ivoire room - beautiful! The owners and staff treat you like VIPs. The food and mint tea is delicious. Even though we expected it to be great having read so many positive reviews it still surpassed our expectations - do not hesitate in booking here.
