“Lovely Riad very relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stayed here in April for a few days, its so peaceful and relaxing, the rooms are decorated with local crafts. Great location to explore the souks. Breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. Manager Hussein is a great asset and is so helpful.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

Stayed here for 3 nights in July and had a great time. Marrakech was quiet as it was off season so just ourselves in the Riad which was lovely. We were picked up for free from the bus station and airport as we ere coming from different places which was fantastic. The Riad is beautiful, really comfortablly decorated with gorgeous fabrics and spacious bedrooms. The roof terrace is gorgeous and a great place to take breakfast every day.
The main asset of this Riad is the manager Hussein who is really friendly, helpful and has brilliant English. From arranging a day trip with a drive for us, to advising us on taxi and shopping prices, he was great for information and a really friendly guy. The rest of the staff were really pleasant and ensured our stay was very relaxing. Location is really close to the souks and easy to walk to get a taxi also. Highly recommended.

The Riad Ma'ab has a great location within the medina in Marrakech, so you are entrenched in the vibrant life of the souks the moment you emerge each day. It is beautifully decorated in a traditional style with lots of local and regional flavor. Simple yet sublime. The riad is a peaceful oasis from which to begin (and end) your Marrakech experiences. The staff, and especially Houssain, are wonderful -- all questions answered, tours and cars arranged easily. We had them do one dinner for us during our stay and the food was marvelous. This is a perfect riad for a gathering of friends -- and, like the name implies, it is most certainly a place to which we hope to return. Highly recommend booking the entire riad for family and friends!

This Riad was highly recommended by both my daughter and nephew who stayed here a few years ago. It exceeded my high expectations!
It is located very near the square where you will experience the culture, excitement and craziness of inner Marrekech.
The riad is authentic and beautiful. It is comfortable, clean, spacious, and decorated with local lighting, rugs, blankets, etc. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and dinner on the rooftop terrace.
John, Hussein and Senna went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.
Will stay here again!!

The riad is really nicely decorated and in a good and safe location. Interesting and tasty selection of local foods for breakfast each day. Hussein (the manager, who also built the riad) is probably the riad's best asset - on the first night because the riad was empty, he took us to where he normally goes for dinner and then gave us a tour of the Medina. Everyday he gave us great advice in English on where to go, what to eat, and how much to pay for things. Without the included airport pickup it would be very hard to find the place (like most places in Marrakech to be honest!), but they give you a free map when you arrive. Would definitely stay again if I was in Marrakech.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Ourika room which was great.

I cannot wait to return and was sad to leave!
The Riad Ma'ab is a quiet retreat within the Medina walls. Coming in from the Medina you walk through the doors into a refuge of quiet tranquility. Handsomely decorated and furnished. Beautiful modern bathrooms and individually decorated bedrooms.
Each day started with breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a different specialty of Morocco.Sena prepares the meals and does not disapoint.
Hussein, who oversees the Riad is quite helpful. He is a wealth of information about the city and its history. It seemed like he knew everyone throughout the Medina. He is on top of everything going on and anticipates your every need.
The Riad is situated so that it is only a short walk to the Gueliz and Yves Saint Laurents home, Majorelle Garden.
Sitting under the stars in the Riad's bhou and reflecting on the day is something I miss greatly.
Not included , but also available are other meals. Hussein prepared a delicious chicken Tangine that was amazing. Better than what could be had at any restaurant. The food served in the Riad is locally bought , daily.
We were fortunate to have Johnny there during our stay. He too is well versed in the history and area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the fantastic Riad Ma'ab, and from the very beginning I felt incredibly welcome. We were picked up by the airport, and the fantastic manager Hussein gave us a tour of the medina and answered all of our questions about the city. The owners were also staying there at the time, and they were also extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The Riad itself is situated right in the middle of one of the large souks, but once inside it is incredibly peaceful. Every morning we were served delicious homemade Moroccan breakfast on the sunny terrace, and this was easily the highlight of our day! I can't say enough great things about this riad, will definitely go back the next time I go to Marrakech!
