The first impression you have of this Riad is terrifying. So deos the last one. Located next to the bus station, this Riad is certainly not the best for it's location. At least not he most cozy one for sure. Is true that after you trespass the entrance door, things change quiite a bit. But what you do not know is that you are entering Ali Baba's Cave..... We booked the Riad for 5 nights, and we chose The African Suite. Small like a shoe box!!!!!!! Cupboard doors do not reach to fully open, cause there is not enough space. A single tiny little window, this room never saw light.. Bathroom stinks, Decoration is important, but space to breath is as well, specially when travelling for leasuring. Bathroom shower does not work. Either you boil yourself or you freeze... when water comes out, of course!!! After spending a whole day with 40 C, nothing is better than a cooling shower.... well, forget it!!!! After three nights suffering claustrophobia, WE DECIDED TO MOVE AWAY. Sorprise came when we did check out: they charged for 5 nights, the hardest calamar I've ever eaten. The big tub so called swimming pool is next to the kitchen, so you can enjoy a bath while smelling french fries in the air.
We got stressed, and we get robbed by the owner, who overcharged our staying.
At least we came out alive. Pay attention with these guys, They will ask you to pay half of your stay in advance, and then will charge double price. Run away when possible.
Worst experience in Marrakech, unfortunately.
