“A huge train station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

It's a huge train station. The tall building with very high ceiling is certainly much bigger than Casa Voyageurs in Casablanca. There were not too many people and you felt that it's very spacious. There were Mcdonalds etc. inside the train station. It seems modern and certainly better than the station of Casa Voyageurs.

“The beautiful Gare Routiere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Whether arriving or departing Marrakech by train, the Gare Routiere is a beautiful building in which to do this. The huge glass front ornamented in a modern version of tradition patterns allows an unobstructed view; Slender fluted colomns soar to the ceiling; Decorative polished tilework gleams on the floor. Situated within the Gare are several fast food outlets as well as a pattisiere, a pizza cafe & restaurant on the upper level and Luigi’s, an excellent Italian restaurant. On the ground floor level is an Information Centre, a Post Office, a Phone outlet and a shop selling drinks, snacks, magazines & newspapers.

If you are continuing your travels, the SupraTours Bus Depot is part of the station complex.

“Old Meets New”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

This is one of those landmark train stations....well designed & fitting of the traverse from old to new...modern but keeping to true Moroccan sensibility of style...

“Most pretty station I've ever seen.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

A beautiful station, however that's all it is, its not really a tourist attraction. Although you can get to different cities for a reasonable price and the train in first class is pretty good.

“Nothing special but useful.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

The architecture is nice but inside it's just a modern train station. However, if you need to get a bottle of water or to withdraw cash it's very safe, has security guards at all times and gives you a break from the sun.
