“Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2009

We were taken great care of from before we left UK. Adam arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and we were guided to the Riad from the taxi. Mint tea and homemade biscuits as soon as we arrived and lots of valuable advice. Adam left us in the care of his father, Mustapha, who looked after us as if we were his own family during our four night stay. Delicious, varied breakfast each morning and a fantastic meal on our last night as I celebrated a significant birthday!! We have stayed in Marrakesh several times before and have loved it but have never experienced such flexible, caring hospitality as we did in Riad Slawi. It's only drawback is finding it in the maze of narrow streets but once inside it is an oasis of calm and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

I booked the Riad Slawi from Trip advisors great reviews. It's a beautiful little Riad with such great hosts who were very helpful from the outset. Adam and his father as well as their local helper Mohammed made sure we had a great time. This place is great value for money. One tip, there is a great roof terrace which is the perfect place to take a break from the spectacular if not slightly tiring city outside. I will be spreading the word!

My partner and I stayed at Riad Slawi for 4 nights at the beginning of November. The riad is located close to the action of the Djeema El Fna and souks, and Adam, the manager, introduced us to these sights on our first morning.

Having someone like Adam available on your first visit to Marrakech is invaluable, he went the extra mile to ensure we were well equipped to enjoy all the city and surrounding area had to offer, including organising a spectacular day trip to the Atlas mountains.

Our suite, including a bedroom, sitting area, and bathroom, was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere at Riad Slawi is friendly and inclusive, but with plenty of opportunities for privacy and tranquillity (necessary after a day haggling!).

Breakfast is tasty, and the dinner that can be prepared on request was one of the best we had during our whole stay in Morocco.

To put it simply, Riad Slawi is a great place to stay.

I cannot fault this place. We booked after reading all the great reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed in the slightest. You arranged taxis too & from the Airport. The breakfasts amazing and different each morning. The mint tea and home made biscuits on arrival - delicious. The raid rooms were gorgeous and nothing was too much trouble for Adam or his Dad to arrange. You totally deserve all the great feedback on this site.

Adam at Riad Slawi is a great guy. He went out of his way to ensure we had a fantastic stay - walked us to the main square on our first night, picked up train tickets for us, you name it.

The riad was very clean, breakfast was excellent. Without question, we will stay here the next time we are in Marrakesh (and have recommended it to our friends!).

Great service from the host. He arranged for everything himself (transport to and from the bus station, luggage transfer from other hotel, transport to the airport, ...). The food at lunch was very good ( a large mixed salad, tajine with chicken, lemon and olives, fruit salad with yoghurt). However the riad is difficult to find, ask the taxi driver to drive you to Sidi Ben Slimane and ask the owner to have someone to pick you up there. Thanks!

We found the Riad Slawi from the great reviews here on Tripadvisor and once again this site helped us to find the perfect place to stay on what was our third trip to Marrakech. Even before we arrived Adam, the Manager was so helpful in arranging a taxi to meet us from the airport and a porter to help us with our luggage. It was lovely to arrive at the airport and have a completely stress free trip to the Riad.
Adam and his Father made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was truly beautiful, very spacious with gorgeous furnishings and great attention to detail. A very comfortable bed, lovely, everything very clean and a very pretty bathroom. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, with great and plentiful coffee, delicious orange juice, pancakes and a local delicacy of filo pastry parcels which were heavenly. Adam is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. We left feeling that we had made a new friend and we will definitely return to the Riad on our next trip to this amazing city.
