We spend five days in Maizie. To our surprise we were almost the online guests there. We were met at the airport by a local taxi driver and driven into the jungle of the souk, where a carrier met us with a small wagon and pushed our luggage out of the noisy crowd into labyrinth that ended in Maizie. Will and his lovely cat met us, in a scenery that only exists in museums. A beautiful atrium with fruit-trees, our rooms, the green and the red were at the second Florø and a wonderful terrace at the top, viewing the sky and the roofs of Marrakech. Surprisingly quiet. Will speaks arab, knows a lot about life in M and willingly answered all our questions. He followed us to Djema el Fnaa, gave advices about what to do or not. Every morning he served us wonderful breakfast at the terrace, fresh orange juice, coffee, pancakes and egg the way we wanted. He arranged for us a taxi drive to Ouirigane in the High Atlas, were we stayed overnight, and the same driver brought us safely back to Maizie the next evening.
The rooms were clean, one with air condition. Each room with shower and toilet. We will highly recommend this Riad, much because of Wills hospitality.
