“an oasis of calm in a bonkers city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Such a beautifully relaxing and peaceful Riad, just 5 mins from the frenetic craziness of the medina. We stayed in the Jade room which was spacious, really comfortable and a good size. I don't think I've slept that well in years! Abdou and the rest of the staff can't do enough to help and really make your stay special. The pictures on here really don't do it justice, in fairness. Breakfast in the quiet courtyard was a delight too!

Room Tip: Jade was perfect for us

WOW!! What can I say about this amazing hotel. The perfect place to stay and relax from the hustle and bustle of the souks and Medina. Abdul was such a big help to us, booking restaurants and showing us where to go on the maps, very lovely man and his English was superb.

The small Jacuzzi upstairs was perfect to relax in after walking all day and even more perfect with a mojito (the best I've had)

Great location right near everything and close to the airport. Our transfers never arrived so we got a taxi but the taxi guy called the hotel and a lovely gentlemen came to meet us and walk us to our room as you would never find it in the alleys especially at night. The transfers were easy jets fault not the hotel. We even got upgraded when we arrived and had a lovely room over looking the pool. Breakfast was wonderful my favorite part of the holiday and filled us up all day until dinner.

Highly recommend this hotel, very laid back and the most peaceful place I have ever stayed in.

PS don't be put off walking through the alleys to get to the hotel at night, perfectly safe and when you walk through the hotel door you will forget the outside world.

Room Tip: we had the room on the far left over looking the pool, was lucky enough to get upgraded and was perf...

Just back from Marrakech. Stayed at Riad Flam for 2 nights. Very strategically located. Just a 10min walk from the Jema El Fnaa(the square). Close to all the main attractions and Souks. It is a beautiful Riad, very tastefully done. The decor is very appealing and well maintained. Feels like another world once you enter!
The staff were very helpful from the time we met them. They were kind enough to pick us up from the airport and wait for us at the Riad as we landed late night. Abdul was very polite and helped us a lot by giving us the map and recommendations for things to do in the city. Overall everybody is very kind and make you feel comfortable.
The rooms are brilliant! The beds are comfortable and toilets clean and house keeping makes sure they keep it that way by changing towels, tidying up regularly!
The roof top plunge pool is stunning and perfect to relax and sun bathe. There is even a massage and a hamam centre at the Riad. The owner is an in-house masseuse.
The only downside was that there was some work happening in the building and was a little noisy in the afternoon (blame it on the timing).
The other thing I would like to say is if you are staying at this Riad and planning on a desert safari, do not approach the Riad. They charged us double the price and once we got there we were surprised to meet people who had paid almost half price for the same trip!! You rather book it through the agencies on the streets.
Otherwise I highly recommend this Riad! A total winner!!

Room Tip: Get a room on the upper floors if possible.

A warm sincere welcome by the friendly staff. Lovely rooms - clean. Relaxing escape from the hectic marrakech streets. Would be happy to stay there again! Recommend you try riad flam above usual franchised hotel chains.

We stayed at Riad Flam for three nights on our first trip to Marrakech. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We both had a massage, which was fantastic and much needed after two days of sightseeing by foot.

Our room was probably one of the smallest but was perfectly adequate, particularly as we preferred to use the courtyard for relaxing and reading.

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor and although it had a small window onto the street, it was very peac...

This Riad was renovated by a Parisian masseuse who now not only runs it but also is the in-house masseuse. Its a wonderful establishment, calm and tasteful in all rooms and the central court yard, the service and breakfasts were wonderful. We were welcomed with a private talk with the manager who gave us some bearings, a map and some recommendations of things to do during our stay. I can't recommend this place enough. All in all a total winner. Get a room on the upper floors.

Room Tip: On the upper floors

There are no words to describe how beautiful this Riad is. We stayed for 8 nights and still did not want to leave. The rooms are beautiful, the courtyard is beautiful. Food is delicious and staff are lovely. Madame Flam's massages are fantastic. The Riad is just around the corner from Palais Bahia and a short 10 minute walk through market streets to the main square Jemaa El Fna. Do not get put off by what anyone says, this is literally the place to stay in the Old Town. Don't miss out! We will most definitely be going again one day!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are beautiful, but we were on the first floor and we preferred this as it gave a li...
