When we first arrived in Marrakech, to get to Riad Attayour we had to walk through a maze of tiny alleys and we were a bit apprehensive, I admit. Especially when as we got to the front door, there was drainage work so had to try avoid falling into a deep hole (this should be finished by now I think tho and the riad were extemely apologetic about it)
Inside was a completely different story. The courtyard was neat, clean and quiet. The room was lovely, clean and breakfast was delicious. Best thing about the riad was Abdelhadi who was kind, pleasant and very helpful about finding our way around Marrakech with a very useful map. We stayed for only one night although because I forgot some shoes I had to return a few days later to collect them and he had kindly kept them safe. If you can't afford to really splash out on a riad but want something of the riad experience, then this is a good one. We stayed later in a more expensive riad and yes you do get a little more but I thought for the cost, riad attayour was excellent value.
My one piece of advice is to get the airport transfer - we didn't and got a bit ripped off in the taxi and by the 'helpful boy' who had to guide us from the taxi drop off to the riad. Taxis cannot get to the front door and you'll never find it on your own - €15 is definitely a good price for airport transfer in comparison to what it cost us!!
