On our first night in Marrakech, we stayed at Riad Menzeh.

Our stay was heaven. We were given the Atlas room, which is on the terrace. Jamal showed us around, and even helped us get some toothpaste we forgot to bring.

We had the terrace all for ourselves, which was amazing. After a great night of sleep (very quiet, quality linen), we were greeted with an outstanding breakfast : fruits, jam, pancakes, bread and fresh orange juice : more than we could dream of.

Overall, I don't think our stay could have been any better.

We stayed for two nights in this very peaceful Riad. We were met late at night in the nearby square on our arrival to be escorted back to the Riad. We were given mint tea and taken up to the roof top to see the view over the medina. Our room was very comfortable and clean with very good air conditioning. The bathroom was very spacious. Next morning after a lovely breakfast we were given a map and shown exactly how to find our way back. We ate dinner here on the second night it was delicious and a great taste of Morocco. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a true Riad experience in beautiful surroundings.

Tucked away inside the heart of the Medina, Riad Menzeh is a little slice of paradise in an otherwise hectic city. This riad is perfectly located, with all major landmarks just within minutes walk of the Djemaa El Fna.
Excellent service provide by Yassim and Jamal, coupled by the great cooking of Majda!

Keep it up guys! Will surely be back :)

A well located Riad in the old town close to all the attractions and bustle of Marrakesh yet tranquil and calm inside. Access is via alleyways and inaccessible to taxis. Best to pay the 20 euros and use the Hotel taxi service from the airport to avoid the stress!
It is lifted above the simply average by the service and courtesy shown by Yaseef (sorry if I got the spelling wrong!) and Jamal.
Good free wifi.
Wholeheartedly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms face on to inner courtyard which is good at shutting most noise out in an otherwise noisy and...

First thing to say is, its hard to find. Even if you make it to Sidi Yaoub, the nearest square, its then down a maze of alleyways, which is kind of cool. Its a very old part of the city. So if you're arriving late, save yourself some bother and organise a taxi via the Riad staff to have them pick you up at the airport (20eur). They'll take you to Sidi Yaoub and someone from the Riad will then meet you at the square and take you the rest of the way on foot (2 mins walk) down the windy derbs of the old Medina. You will definitely *not* stumble across this place :)

What I love about the Riads is its almost like stepping into another world. The medina district in Marrakesh is small, congested, busy -- lots of energy, bustle, smells and sights, but it feels so good to step away from that into this calm open, quiet area in the Riad. Its pretty incredible.

I stayed in the rooftop room at the very top of the building. It was a nice room, clean and cool (air con included but I didnt need it that much in early March) with a nice bathroom and shower. The benefit is, you have a big rooftop terrace right outside your door, and if there arent many others staying in the Raid (and there wasn't for me) - you pretty much have the roof terrace to yourself. So you can sit on one of the deck chairs and look out over the thousands of rooftops across Marrakech. The only downside is that the wifi is available, but the signal doesnt really stretch to the rooftop. You can pick up a weak signal and it gets better when you go down 1 flight of steps.

The manager and staff were very helpful too -- providing lots of useful information, serving some drinks and food. I would go back again.
